No it does not. Plug in and download the drivers. Normally at least. Mine did not work at all.

Didn't want a mp3 with radio or video for my young children. one customer said there was a song on there that couldn't be removed, but we were able to delete the prerecorded song from the player. I didn't realize it would be so small but it has worked great! Buying more for other children!

Bought this little thing as a early Father's Day present for the old man. He hasn't received it yet, mostly because I'm still finding music to put on it. But I have tested it. This is the second time I've bought one of these. They have a pretty good battery life and are fairly easy to use. You really can't get much better than this for the price. Great for older people or children.

Dad day gift

These MP3 players are great for my classroom, but were not easy to set up. Be sure your files are saved as MP3 files or they won't play.

perfect for my classroom

This is an excellent player, though it has some significant shortcomings.  For one, there is no screen for you to see what's playing, and also there is no indication of
battery life.  But it is very easy to load or delete music files.  Also, for $8.80, my Vertigo came with 4 gb of memory, not 2gb.

Vertigo Player

Battery stopped accepting a charge after about a week.  I can leave it on the USB port all night and it will play about twenty minutes.  Kinda like buying a ten dollar 2 GB flash drive with an earphone jack.  Works as long as it's plugged in to the computer.

Early death

You certainly get what you pay for. Cheap buttons and plastic. Surprisingly nice metal clip on the back however. Wasn't enough for me to keep it though as my PC couldn't even recognize the MP3 player and the drivers failed to download. Could not find them online to save my life. Move on to a different product.

Poor quality

Only started play list at beginning. I had HOURS of music loaded on it would only play the first ones. I had to manually skip the first 30 songs or so to get to other songs. COULD NOT get it into shuffle mode! It had lists for Artist and Genre, but there were no instructions on how to create the lists, so all I got was "No List" when I selected those options. Very frustrating. I returned it and got my money back.

Wouldn't Recommend It

I left it on the charger for a couple of days before I even tried it out. In less than 2 hours, the battery was completely dead. Total waste of money!
