Both volumes can be adjusted and can be made loud and clear.

You can set the volume on the base or handset to any volume; I actually found it to be more loud than previous v-tech phones that I have purchaed. JMEB

I am a little hard of hearing. Is the volume on the ring and the voice audio clear and loud?

This phone does not offer a call blocking feature.

I agree there it a lot to learn, but be patient and it will all work for you. Its not really all that complicated! Some people just aren't good with new knowledge. Don't be afraid to call the company who makes them in this case VTech. I have had used these phones since they have came out and recommended them to all of my !

My phone arrived when they said it would and pick-up at the store was fast and easy.I always seem to buy VTECH phones because they are a really good quality phone with all the features I want.It has dialing without using handset, great screen display of time and date, answering machine,call waiting and so many other features .I would recommend it to anyone who wants the best phone for the money.

EXCELLANT PHONE FOR THE PRICE.

Looked at replacing our exsisting phones that had finally dialed their last call with something that would be portable yet be readily accessable with a home office. this phone system met that and more. The speakerphone function is an added bonus for both thehandsets and the base unit, like having three phones. Being able to check voice mail from any of the units another plus, and all the units synic all data automatically. Set up was easy and placing numbers in directory was simple. All entries follow he same basic principles.

Wonderful phone to mee the needs of our busy house

Love the price, quality and ease of ordering my V-tech phone.   Also delivery came just as promised. Would recommend product and Walmart service to others.

First purchase on my new account

Overall this is a good phone. Sound quality is good and the features have everything we needed for a home office phone that's used 7+ hours a day. The speakerphone on the base was a must have. The only goofy thing is the * and # symbols do not fully show on the LCD screen, for example the # shows as an 8 without the top line. Not a deal breaker, but we use those buttons a lot for conferencing systems and it's a really odd limitation with VTech's screen that we haven't seen on other brands.

Good features and sound quality

I've bought V-Tech in the past and they last quite a long time and we use them frequently, especially my husband for business usage. However, I found this particular model a little hard to set up as some of the buttons are multi-function and the directions were not really clear for some of the symbols. J. Bittner

Good deal for the money for two cordless phones.

Very hard to set up. Directions that come with phones are only basic. I think it says to go on line to figure out how to set up. I am keeping them only because they have the feature of having a speakerphone on the handsets and the base. These specs Are hard to find in the phones I've seen on line. The new phones that are being made seem too complicated for me. They connect with your cell phone. Too much technology for me.

I will NEVER purchase another VTech phone,EVER! I do not know if they are all defective &amp; hard to program menu, but this one was a nightnare. Returned it today, thank GOD! The speaker phone would not work. You had to dial &amp; it would not go through the first time, ever,pick it up &amp; it would start redialing any # in your phone numbers. NEVER on the first dial would it make a call, NEVER! Humming in the background. If that is not bad enough you dial from the base, the numbers &amp; it said something like it took to long for dialing #. All the other settings, if you could find them again was HARD to set. I have to say out of hundreds of phones, I have owed, this one, vtech is the most aweful experience &amp; hassle, I have ever had! I got an At&amp;T, I like it except for the orange light up numbers, but I can at least program it. Then another one is on Wal-mart.com I will order next month. You could not GIVE me FREE a VTECH phone to use!. Nightmare &amp; headache! Never buy this phone &amp; I would not reccommend vtech, EVER! I am, so glad it is GONE &amp; I do not have to try to use it &amp; put up with it! If I could I would give it a minus 5! BAD&lt; BAD&lt; BAD constructed
