I wish someone would have told me it is only easier to download and use most apps.  But very hard to set up contacts, info, delete text or calls from your phone.. Not easy to find or make changes.

great phone for apps

WELL, I read all the complaints AFTER I got my new Pixi Android home. I set my phone up fine and I've never had one of these touch phones. I had THE original first flip Tracfone ever put out. LOL NO camera, no nothing, just a flip phone. So this was new to me. I set my telephone contacts us fine. If you want to see them, you click on the Phone icon and there's all my contacts. Not sure what the Contact icon is for. Has ONE contact and then a link to see all contacts. BUT no problem. I'm on facebook constantly with this Anrdroid Pixi touch and can check all the comments fine/easy. I've made calls and had them call me back to learn how to answer it. LOL I love this phone. I'm now texting. I haven't used much data at all. My phone came with triple minutes so when I added a 750mb Data card......it tripled. I hardly used any data. I had 3,000 minutes in my old phone I rolled over. I love this phone. The ONLY problem I had was it turning off too soon. So once I get on it I set the Display for NEVER so it doesn't shut off when I'm in the middle of something. I never have it on for long anyway. Half hour. I think this is a great phone and the price is right.

I just bout this phone today but at another store an it was cheaper I was considering getting a phone from the Tracefone website but wanted to make sure my Safelink account would transfer so i got this phone well its all active an up to date i even added all my apps to it I'm not big on selfie pictures so having no front camera is no big deal to me after many years of regular cell phones just can't afford them anymore had to go to safelink an well so far no problems Im able to connect to wifi make calls an recieves calls screen little smaller then usual but still can see everything :)

Tracfone is a great company which lets you control your cell phone dollar. My old phone was a Samsung blackberry style that I'd outgrown and this Pixi Glitz seemed like a good one to replace it. At first, yes the tiny keyboard is a little nightmarish and it really bogged me down for entering things and setting up accounts. It's also just as difficult to text as my old Samsung was with its tiny buttons.

But my attitude changed after setting up wireless and trying the music and videos on it. Kit Kat 4 is a pretty good Android OS and this phone is 4G, which makes the wireless pretty snappy.

There is a Youtube app and when watching videos the expand button blows up the picture and makes it go sideways so it displays on the whole screen. Very good! Finally, the music player accepted all my favorite MP3s from my computer and plays them on shuffle and through a bluetooth headset.

Most importantly it's MUCH easier to dial the phone and make calls than on the Samsung since the number pad is big for that. So yes, if you want a phone that rotates and is very easy to text on and rotates sideways you'll have to spend more money. But if you want an inexpensive phone that can do internet well, play Mp3s and and videos this is a good choice. Come on -- it's only $19.95!

Good entry level Smartphone though not perfect

We purchased this phone for my daughter to use on 3/19/16 and by 3/21/16 we started experiencing our first issue. After charging it to 100% we unplugged it and noticed it say the battery was dead or at 12%. Video and music players work great when battery works and texting is great for her but not for a experienced adult. Fingers tend to hit wrong keys even though your pressing the correct letter. Camera is good with correct lighting because it has no flash. Overall the phone is what i expected it to be for the price we paid! We just wish the battery would keep a charge longer.

you get what you pay for

I have had this phone around two weeks. Four times it wanted to reboot itself. The battery does not last even one day, even when it is not used. i will be returning it this week when I find a replacement I can afford.

Disappointing

The phone I received is fraught with problems. When you press one key, the key beside It appears. Entering contacts is very difficult without help. Getting contacts synced to Gmail was not easy. It was easy following the directions, but the contacts cannot be found in Gmail contacts. My battery was almost worthless; it keeps a charge for almost 10 minutes. It has a feature where you are supposed to be able to Import/Export to SD card--this was next to impossible despite ample help from Tracfone representatives. Of course, the particular phone I received had to be returned for replacement. Not a good experience. Many frustrations.

Otherwise, I thought the phone was dandy--this is my first smartphone. The clarity for the tv apps was very good. However, only 2 megapixels for the camera--which was ok for me.

The feature I think that needs to be seriously investigated is the Import/Export feature to SD card. I wanted to save my contacts to SD card so I would not have to enter them again on any other phone.
