I could be wrong but I think all things intended for food use has to be food grade and lead safe. items that are not will say &quot;for decoration only&quot; Also, these can be sold in CA which has the most strict regulations in the country so Im thinking its perfectly safe ;)

With the problems showing up lately with lead in water and such, I would question it and want a guarantee. Unless the company itself guarantees that it is lead free and I don&#39;t see an answer coming from the company on here about this issue.

This lovely vintage bloom set has matching mugs in the drink ware section that would look just great with the vintage bloom 12pc set.

The dinnerware set does not come with cups. They can be purchased separately. Personally I think that is great. I ordered 3 sets of dinnerware but knew that I didn&#39;t need 12 cups so I was able to purchase only 4 cups separately. Perfect for my kitchen!

I have one of the cups--its why I bought the dinnerware. Its nice and big for a real cup of coffee.

Wonderful dishes. Gorgeous hand-painted look. The description said they were light blue, but they are pale green on the edges, just the color I wanted!

These are great dishes.   I wanted to replace broken pieces of my Pistoulet pattern dishes by Pfaltzgraff that I've had for years but they're difficult to find and more expensive than fine china to replace these days.   I like the idea of mix'n'match dishes and have been looking for a pattern that had some common colors and pattern elements, such as the hand painted dots that this Vintage Bloom pattern has, and the muted red and greens and yellows in the red trim VIntage Bloom pattern looked like they would fit in with my existing set.   Well, I crossed my fingers, knowing that colors on computer monitors can be misleading, and went ahead and ordered a 4 place setting with the red trim.  They were out of stock, so I set a "notify" request for when they came back in stock and two days later they notified me they were back ... I ordered got them within five days during Christmas week!   It's a good thing I hopped right on it because were out of stock again in two days!  They arrived well packed in Styrofoam form packing in perfect condition and look great with my existing pattern.   The muted red and greens and yellows and the polka-dots fit in perfectly with my existing pattern!
 
This was a great purchase and saved me a ton of money from what it would have cost me to just replace four dinner plates from my Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet pattern ..... and now I can branch out and add more Pioneer Woman patterns to the mix in the future!

These dishes arrived on time and in perfect condition. They were securely packaged and not one flaw noted. They are handmade and may have variations but that is beautiful to me and not a flaw as some others have reviewed. I am very happy with the colors and quality of the vintage bloom dishes. They are tolerating the microwave and dishwasher very well. We have had them over a week and I have no complaints. They go beautifully with the teal cowgirl lace plate set that I ordered as well. They are cheery and fun to use for family dinners. I love the colors and scalloped edges.

These dishes are beautiful and reasonably durable. Have owned my last set for probably 4 years ago, and they still look just as nice as this most recent order - just as shiny, zero chips, colors still as brilliant. Get lots of compliments. Highly recommend.

Vibrant Colors

We painted an accent wall in our kitchen/ dining area light teal/ seafoam almost a year ago and we've been looking to replace our old, tired plain black dishes about as long!  When I saw the Vintage Bloom pattern at Walmart, I knew we had found our new dishes!  I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the dishes, and I have not been disappointed so far.  I've had the set for two weeks and they are holding up very well in our household (with two teens and a preteen!).  The dishes were packed very well for shipment and nothing was chipped or broken when I received it.  The colors are beautiful and vibrant, the hand painted differences add a nice touch, and they are heavy enough to withstand breakage, but not too heavy to use comfortably.  We've been using them at every meal and washing them in the dishwasher with no issues.  Due to seeing several reviews of breakage in the microwave, I have not used the dishes in the microwave.  (I bought a set of solid teal plastic plates and bowls - also at Walmart- for microwave use, and they co-ordinate well with this set!)   My husband did microwave his coffee in one of the mugs, and it came out fine, with no problem.  I love how these dishes co-ordinate with all of the other Pioneer Woman patterns, too.  I bought the teal Flea Market napkins and the dandelion oven mitt set.  I also bought the country garden prep set, and everything matches really well.  I LOVE these dishes and they make me happy every time I walk into my kitchen!
