Rated 1 out of 5 by memezmama air-pump cant pull its own weight :/ Bought this for my betta. Worked great for about 2 wks., then air pump for filter started dying, and wouldnt give off enough power to operate filter, so i started using an air pump for a 5-15 gallon aquarium b/c thats all i've got at this time. also i hate that the whisper filter goes into the inside of the tank, takes some room up, but safe so it'll never hurt your betta's fins if they get too close. never use for any other fish (not big enough). but other than that it's ok, just got ripped off b/c it's only worth $10-$15 MAX!!!! and sides get scratched easily, but no seems to start leaking lol.. 11/01/2012

It holds quite a few tank ornaments and greenery plus it has an easy to use and replace filter system. It has room for heater too but I don't need one for the beta.Worth the money, has wide viewing so it is eye catching. Love the light comes with it too. All in all I would highly recommend. 01/29/2013

Got all the way home and realized it had 2 filters....the adapter was there but the LED light was missing. We live an hour away so there was no way I could go back and exchange it (plus it was the last one on the shelf). The info on the box didn't make it clear that you also need to buy an air pump to run the filter, and the instructions that are included are really vague. The tank itself is a nice size, but it's made from cheap plastic. It will do for my purposes, but I wouldn't recommend it for long-term use. 04/20/2013
