I was gifted this item to write an honest review and this is worth the buy if you need a good candy/deep fry thermometer. This is an extremely easy to use item that is very sturdy and for an affordable price! It is stainless steel with a hard plastic top so you do not burn yourself while using. There is a clip attached to the back for easy pan attachment allowing an accurate reading of the temperature, as well as large numbers to easily see the temp. There are also markings down the side to help remind you what temperature equals what result, as well as a guide on the back. I hope this helps! I would definitely recommend the item for use if you need one!!

great and easy tool

I was worried about using this product. But it turns out that now I can make my candy and fudge without it burning. So I have blessed when I got it delivered to me the next day. It works great I used it once but I will be using it again for no-bake cookies tomorrow afternoon.

Candy Thermometer

It's looks tiny but it's actually large if you worried that it don't have the thing to stick to pots don't worry it do

I've bought this exact thermometer twice now and both times the blue line that tells you the temperature separated into 2-3 pieces. The clip also doesn't work well, not sure if it's just the pot I use but it doesn't clip firmly to the pot so the tip of the thermometer is always touching the bottom of the pot which I heard isn't good and could be the reason why it keeps breaking

Not Impressed

The bottom piece broke off into my pot of toffee so I had to throw it all out. Ingredients are way to expensive to be wasted like this. I'm only giving 1 star because I couldn't give 0 stars

It doesn't go pass 209. So it stops at 209 then drops back down

DO NOT BUY

Good morning. My candy thermometer was delivered broken. The thermometer came in a plain brown bag with no protection for the glass parts. It should have came in a fragile handle with care package. I am disappointed and put in a bad spot at this time. I have taken deposits from customers that I make candy for. I used the deposit's to purchase everything needed to produce their orders. Now I have to return the deposit's to my clients. I understand that mistakes do happen, for future reference these items containing glass should be better protected when being shipped. I would have given a 5 stars because I have used this product but 1 star because this put me in a bind.

“SHATTERED”

I have only used this thermometer once and half the numbers have already rubbed off. Would not recommend.

Numbers rubbed off

Under no circumstances should you buy this thermometer. I was using it as it is supposed to be used and at around 400° the base exploded and poured the blue stuff into my pot. My pot is now ruined you can see these drippy streaks from where the oil line was. Don't buy it!
