Apparently. They go outside, and I know they work.

They are for the outdoors, but after you twist the side tab off, insert the stake perfectly straight up. Twisting the tab off opens up a hole on the side. If the stake is not straight, rain could enter and dilute the bait.

I would NOT use this or any other ant product directly in my garden but instead, look for a line of ants from where they might be coming from and place the ant stake away from the garden bed (good 2&#39;) in that area, then let the ant stake do it&#39;s thing, safely away from your vegetables.

The outdoor stakes are designed to withstand weather but if there is a lot of heavy rain water can still get inside of the stakes. We recommend if any heavy downpours to remove the stakes from the area.

This product is recommended for use around the perimeter of a home. If placed in a vegetable garden, we recommend washing fruits and vegetables prior to consumption.

Not sure as there is something designed to knock off ants inside.  Also deer like to carry these off to chew on so they might bring deer TO your garden!

Most effective way to get rid of household ants.  I think we built our house on a giant ant hill.  The first year was a battle, but once I got on top of it, I haven't had a problem since.  I put these around my house every season.  They're discreet, non-toxic and effective.

They attract the ants fast, and work fast. I also have ant baits inside because I had a problem with ants but with these outside around my house they have been enough to get rid of them before they even get inside

As I've aged, I have been digging up plants to put in large pots...easier to maintain...and it keeps me off my knees.  These are fantastic and work extremely well to keep ants out of my pots.

I have tried many products before I found these stakes. This stuff works, period. I hide them outside around the perimeter of my house, making sure my nosy dogs don't find them. The ants quit coming into my house because they died outside. It's that simple. Didn't want to use the liquid spray or granules because of the animals' safety. This is 100% effective and worry-free. One less thing I have to worry about.

Terro outdoor liquid ant bait stakes work great! Within one day the number of ants coming into the house were cut in half and a week later didn't see any. The only problem I had was our ground was hard from limited rain so I had to dig a small area for each stake where I wanted to place them. Best ant  bait product on the market, will purchase again.

If I thought 2015 was bad for ant volcanoes in my yard, 2016 is worse, perhaps because our winter in Central Wisconsin was milder than usual. I had been able to keep up with spot spraying and Terro  Ant Dust, but this year there were hundreds more hills, destroying the turf and creating bare spots. These stakes were part of my arsenal, because the ants would take the bait back to the nest and the queen would die, the cause of all ant production. Killing the workers by spraying them doesn't work if the queen is still in production.

Good price for Outdoor Ant Battles

So far they seem to be working. I got them to put in my vegetable garden to get rid of the ants.  I didn't want to spray or put poison down with my plants, so I thought I would try these, thinking the poison would stay in the ants.  A little pricey, but very easy to use.

disappointed,  i ordered these and got the new improved design, the old ones are so much better constructed.  why do companies have to change a great product.  leave it along it works great, going cheap on a product may save money in the short term but it will cost you business in the future.
