The liquid is inside the trap so it is safe to use on the counter. You cut a hole in it so the ants can get at it. I really can't answer your second question, I have never had that problem.

Yes, but be aware of exactly where you are putting it. It must be out of the reach of young folks. Put it in a place where nothing else will come in contact with it accidently. We use small pieces of plastic, or small pieces of cardboard, that are covered with printing. Don't use the cardboard side because it will soak into the blank, cardboard side. Use the side with printing, like the outside of an old cereal box. We only put one or two drops of the fluid on any piece if material.
The ants should swarm the drop of Terro Ant killer. Let them eat to their hearts content! LET THEM EAT IT! The whole idea is that they will carry the stuff back to their nest. THAT is where the real magic happens, to kill the nest. Keep putting it out as long as they will eat it. One day, you'll notice that they are not covering the drop on the cardboard. PROBLEM SOLVED! It works GREAT for the small brown ants here in Arkansas. Not sure about other ants, in other locations other than Arkansas. They shouldn't be tracking this stuff to other places. They will find it, send for more help to bring back more of it, and take it right back to the nest. LET THEM EAT IT AND CARRY IT AWAY!

IMO it is safe. I placed it on my Kitchen counter as well as below the sink; and by my front and back doors. Just follow directions and take care not to spill the bait liquid out of the bait trap when placing it down. Examine the counter of the trap through its clear plastic sides.

yes, but be careful not to spill it. It is sticky. Put it out of the way.

my personal experience was that the ants never ventured past the traps. once in place they went in the traps and back outside through whatever window cracks they had entered. i never saw them roaming the sink or countertops again. they didn&#39;t seem interested in my food crumbs anymore. it seemed to work in the first few days but i plan to keep the traps in place the full 3 months they recommend just to be safe!

Not sure if it does never heard of a Pharroah ant but do know it works very well on regular ants

We recommend placing the bait in the direct trail of the ants. Items around that area should be removed while the ants are present.

Once the ants go to this stuff they die in it. So they would not carry it off. Once rid of them you may want to bleach where they have been.

The ants will carry it back to the nest and share with other ants. You can clean the plates just in case, but they usually take it back to the ant bed.

Rarely do things work is good as a advertise. This work better. I hate ants and Tried everything to get rid of them. When I saw this on amazon. So I bought 2 pk. I put the 1st pk out And then decided just to wait. 2 days later I saw no ants anywhere kitchen or living room. Where did they go. Instructions say that the ants take it back to the queen she eats it makes food for the workers and then they die. But in 2 days? 
I guess the rogue ants that are out searching for food Decided not to share it back home. Because quite a few of them are in the trap. I've not seen ants except today In 3 weeks. I saw 3 on the kitchen table and moved 1 of the Sugar tubes Dispenses whatever it's called to the kitchen table. It says it's safe I don't have children. Excellent product guys excellent it did better than I expected and have told everybody that I know that I've talked about the sugar ants about this stuff. Take a look at the photo below not the best quality from my kindle but it let you see that the ants were crawling in and staying swimming around then dying amazed me to see how many dead ants were in it. This was a delivery for my parents who are unable to drive at this time. They needed this recommended product for their house ans I was pleased to find it in stock. However I cannot personally attest to its performance since it was just delivered yesterday and they have not had time to determine how well it works.

worked well for my kitchen ants not loving the bait design.  It's kind of awkward to crack open without spilling liquid content which is super sticky. Don't put it anywhere a child or pet can get it because I think it's sweet by the way the ants went crazy over it

Eliminated the ants forever

i have used Terro Ant Baits for several years.  They work within a day, there were so many ants in it the first day it was completely full %26 I had to put another one down to get the rest of the ants off my counter   they are a little tricky to set up because they are liquid. I usually put a little rolled up tape on the bottom to keep them from moving around my counter but they are the best.
