With TERRO Ant &amp; Roach Bait, you get two solutions in one convenient station, eliminating the need for multiple products. The slender profile and sturdy design make this bait station perfect for placement along baseboards, in corners, on counters, under and behind appliances, on windowsills and near garbage cans. For your convenience, each of the 4 bait stations come pre-filled and ready to use. The stay-fresh tab will keep the liquid fresh until opened. When ready to use, simply break off the tab and place where insects are numerous. Since this is a bait product, you will initially see more insects as they are attracted to the stations. After the bait is consumed, insect populations will begin to decline. The liquid bait, in the top portion of the trap, is specifically designed to allow worker ants to consume the product, survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony. Ants enter the trap, consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass on the bait to the rest of the colony. The active ingredient in the bait slowly interferes with the ants’ digestive systems, eventually killing them. The paste bait, located in the base of the trap, contains protein to attract and kill roaches and silverfish, as well as non-sweet-eating ants. We have used Terro bait for ants in the past, however we used the bottle of liquid and not the bait trap. The traps are a much cleaner, efficient way to go and the package says they may last up to 3 months. They are easy to set up and you just check them off and on to be sure there is still bait in them or if they may possibly need to be relocated to a better area. We are amazed how the ants come in such large numbers and then just disappear. The main thing is they definitely work for ants. I have never tried them for roaches so can’t speak for how they work for them.

Terro Bait

This ant and roach bate really works. I have bought plenty bates in years past but this one here is GREAT! Whatever is in the liquid bate is actually doing it's job. My service porch (where my deep freezer and recycling bin is located) has ants creeping in. And from time to time a roach or two, which I dispise. Because I sure do NOT want them getting inside my household. These bates catch them and it is game over, before they can crawl inside my home. These will be my go to from now on.

Works!

We had some ants coming in by our hummingbird feeder. They kept coming in the doors. We put these traps out near the hummingbird feeder and it eliminated all of them. They're so easy to use and you just pop the top off and their ready to be placed. They're are 4 in this pack so you have many to use.

Great for ants

I dread the summer because it means a huge ant trail when you wake up in the morning eating your food in the kitchen. Use these baits around the house and the ants disappear so quickly!!! I use these all year round just in case and it really gets the job done!

Only bait trap I trust!!

Yes I do get the occasional roach. Hate them. I had to cut the bait trap open with scissors as mine did not easily break off according to the instructions. I have the 4 traps that came in the box out around my house; one in the kitchen, one in the rec room, and 1 each in 2 bedrooms. Haven't caught one yet but hopefully will if one gets in the house. I don't like using poison sprays because I have 2 small dogs. These are easy to use & easy to hide from view.

Nice to Have Around!

4 Small containers of clear liquid bait. The solution attracts most ants as well as silverfish and roaches too. The worker ants go in and take some bait and run it back to the colony. We don’t have roaches but plenty of silverfish and ants. Placed one in the closet one in bathroom and the other two in the windowsills. Out of reach of our dog and not where food is stored or prepared per Terro suggestions.

Easy, ready to use!

I had a bit of a hard time opening it. It wasn’t easy at all. I twisted and folded over and over and over until it finally snapped. Later, I saw a YouTube video that showed the top being pulled straight off and not twisted or bent. I didn't see any instructions on it telling how to remove the top properly. It didn’t have any odor that I could detect. I pushed mine way under the tv console,….far enough back that my puppies cant reach. It states it’s poisonous to humans and animals. I dont have a huge bug problem,….but just moved into a used home and I dont spray chemicals for the safety of my pets. This seemed a safer option over sprays. I highly suggest wearing gloves when opening the lid in case it spills. I opened mine over the sink while wearing gloves. The way it is set up,….I cant see if it is catching anything,…..time will tell.

Hard to remove top

Ok I took 2 out of the package to put down. Reading the directions, there was no snapping the top off. I had to cut it off. I put it down a couple weeks ago and I haven't seen anymore ants. I think this is a lot better than spray as put in the right places your pets are protected.

Snap off?

I have always had great success against sugar ants using Terra baits. I have one large window that constantly has hundreds of small dead bugs in the sill and even down in the floor. I am guessing ants, but never see them alive. So I set this multi-bait trap in the sill in case it is a different type ant or a gnat? If the liquid doesn't do the trick, maybe the paste bait will. Fingers crossed this feeds whatever they are, and they take it back to wherever they live and gets rid of the colony. I was not able to twist and snap off the bait lid, so had to use scissors and some liquid came out. Oops

Multi use bait trap

Tried this because we have random ants that will wonder around our kitchen and dining area, not sure why, it's not like we leave food laying around, and there is just a few that are randomly wondering around. We also have noticed a few small roaches that we have never had before, not many of those either but I see one every so often. So far neither has gone into the bait trap. We put it where we see the ants most often, but not a one has decided to try it out. Maybe we just don't have enough of them to warrant a trap like this, perhaps if you have a lot more they would find it and use it but the ones we have haven't given it a try. You also have to be very careful not to spill out the liquid, so don't tilt it once open.

Didn't work for us

These arrived just in time for ant season. Seems like around this time, every year, we start seeing a ton of ants around our front entry, library, basement, and the stairwell. It takes some strategy to figure out how to place these safely so our cat doesn’t get to it. The day after setting all 4 baits, I found about 20+ ants under the baits..so disappointed. The twist-off is tough, so I’d recommend wearing a glove and careful not to spill any of the bait. I didn't see a single ant climbing in there to get the bait. The box said it doesn’t work on certain types of ants, like fire ants or carpenter ants, so maybe that is what the problem is.
