When I travel I always like to carry a backpack with me to put my "essentials" in. A lot of backpacks are too big for me, but this one is just the right size. There are plenty of different compartments so I can separate my things for easy retrieval. The padded strap is a big plus for me since it keeps the strap from digging into my shoulder. It seems to be well constructed and the outside is easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. The outside pocket fits my water bottle perfectly. I also like that I can just sling this over one shoulder instead of needing to put a strap over each shoulder which can be cumbersome at times. This is so easy to carry and there's room to put whatever I need in it. It is slightly smaller than what I'm use to, but it's big enough for all the "essentials".

Well constructed backpack

This is a review for Swiss Tech’s travel cross body sling bag. I LOVE bags!! I am always looking for the Perfect bag. This very well could be the one. The perfect bag has to be large enough to carry all necessities but small enough to not be an inconvenience. This Swiss Tech travel bag is 11.5 inches by 5.25 inches by 17.5 inches. The size and amount of pockets fit my needs. There are four zippered compartments of varying sizes. One compartment has an accessory organizer. Another compartment is perfect for a snack. The best part is that all compartments zip vertically which allows access to all items. I do not enjoy emptying an entire bag just to find one item. Most bags are an abyss and all feels lost. This bag removes all of the frustration. The padded shoulder strap is adjustable. It also has a zippered accessory pocket. It is very comfortable to carry even on a long hike. There is an adjustable drawstring side pocket to carry a water bottle or anything for easy access. The Swiss Tech travel cross body sling bag is made from a durable polyester. It seems appropriate for anyone to use. Although my life has changed from traveling nationally to more local adventures, this bag would be useful for any travel. This has become my favorite bag and has even replaced my purse!

Possibly best bag ever.....travel or otherwise

This Swiss Tech backpack is made of a thick and durable polyester that's lightweight, has a carry handle, trolley sleeve on back, lightly padded back, padded adjustable shoulder straps, has a chest strap, and appears to be water resistant. It's got four main outer zippered compartments one of which is a laptop and tablet compartment. It also has two side zippered compartments providing storage space for your keys or snacks. All zippers are heavy duty with metal Swiss Tech zipper pulls. As a hiker, this is a perfect day pack with room for all I'll need for an outing. As a traveler, I like the fact that when empty this Swiss Tech backpack folds flat for easy packing in my suitcase for those times I need an extra lightweight pack. This Swiss Tech backpack appears to be pretty durable and will replacing a more expensive, now ripped, travel backpack I was using while traveling earlier this year.

Swiss Tech Backpack

I took this sling backpack on a week’s vacation, and it was my go-to bag for everything.
I took it hiking...just perfect, everything I needed fitted in....
Lightweight jacket, drink, separate compartment for my phone, a safe compartment tucked away at the back for my wallet...
Even a hook for my sunglasses at the front, and a zipper pocket in the strap for my car keys.
This ubiquitous bag, apart from the practicality is very well made, and soft and comfortable to wear.
The one thing I would like is for it to come in more colors.

Great little sling pack.

This Swiss Tech Travel Sling Backpack is well made,
 and quite roomy, and I love the color! There is plenty 
of room for everything you need in this backpack 
without having to stuff it all in. I can carry this over 
my shoulder, or on my back. The zippers on this 
backpack don't stick, and are easy to open and close.
The organizational aspects within this pack is awesome.
It's become my weekend, grab and go bag, and I 
love it.
I have no complaints about this product, and would 
not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking
for a new backpack.

SwissTech Travel Sling Backpack

I use it for packing light objects so it works but it's already coming apart at the bottom seams of the cup holder.

It's OK

I'm honestly not very impressed with this bag.  It's a big large and bulky but for the amount of stuff that it has the capacity to hold, the fabric itself just doesn't feel very sturdy or strong.  In fact, the entire ensemble feels a little "cheap".  I like the pockets and storage space that it offers but even though one could fit a lot into it, I don't feel comfortable or confident in adding too much because I don't think that the material is up to the task.

Not Worth It

This is a nice “little” bag if you know exactly what it is made for. The description is a little misleading, because it says large travel sling backpack that you can carry all of your needs in. I was under the impression that this was like an overnight bag. It is very small, and is more like a mens shower/travel bag. It does not hold much. Big enough to hold a flat t iron, comb & brush, deodorant, toothpaste & toothbrush and maybe a small bottle of lotion and hair moisturizer. You could also use it for a field/day trip to carry water and snacks, perfect for bike riders. If you are looking for s small backpack that won’t hold a lot, this bag would work for you.

Not made to carry everything

i like the bag but after it week its coming apart at two seams. if you purchase one please be sure if there is lose stitching or thread.

I liked all the zippers and compartments this bag offered but just after about 45 days of using it the seams started coming apart….extremely disappointing
