With all of the possible adjustments on this machine, it fits people even shorter than 5 feet tall. In fact, I have shortened it so that my 7 year old granddaughter (who is under 4 feet tall) can operate it. My wife, who barely reaches 5 feet tall, rides it comfortably, and I could adjust it 4 times closer, if she needed it! Adjustment is easy--there is a tube with two sections, running between the front to the back of the machine. The tube has about 8 holes in it and there is a knob which mounts in the front section of the tube which can be loosened and lifted up, and when the knob is released, it seats down into whatever tube you have chosen, and makes the adjustment secure

Yes. My wife is about 5'2", and she doesn't have any issues with it. She loves it. My daughter is a little over three feet tall, and we allowed her to test the bike out. It is adjustable to different heights. The back cushion doesn't go down, but it is positioned just right to fit most all sizes.

Spouse is 5.2 and actually had to move the seat bar in 3 notches. 5 foot should be ok. Seat does not adjust. The distance between seat and pedals adjusts (see the bar on the bottom, that moves in or out with a locking bolt).

Very quiet--I make more noise breathing than the machine does running! The quality vs. price is superb--I think that everything about this machine makes it worth much more than I paid for it. I have had to pay much more for similar machines, in the past.

No. My 9-year-old grandson can reach the pedals. It is adjustable so you can get the seat closer to the pedals so I don't think you would have any problems.

I really appreciated that all fasteners were in the places to which they were to be attached, in the box, and I also appreciated that all the tools which were needed for assembly were also included. Assembly took several hours, but that is more because of my age (71) than the difficulty of assembly. This is the first magnetic recumbent bike I have owned, and I love its quietness and the preset tension. I like it that I can hear and count the clicks, as I set the tension where I want it

Well made, and remarkably quiet and smooth running

The bike rides very smoothly. The noise level is very low. I thought that there would have been more movement from the bike while it was in use, but there is almost none, which is great. It has great stability. It was very easy to assemble. It actually took me about an hour. It would have taken only 45 minutes, had I not assembled the seat and back cushions before I secured the bracket to the frame of the bike. I had to undo this, and then do it correctly. All the tools needed to assemble it are in the box, so you don't need to break out your tool box, or go to the garage for anything. Overall, this was a great buy for my wife and I.

Great bike for those living on a budget.

This was an excellent purchase for me. (75 year old female)  I was able to put the bike together myself in under an hour.  The biggest job was getting the pieces out of the box.  Instructions were clear. I put the bike in front of my TV.  The pedaling is effortless (at a lower setting) and the bike is so quiet that I don't have to turn the sound up on my TV. The bike also is sturdy and has rollers so that I can move it easily when I am done exercising.
