No. It's not air tight. It does keep out the rain.

It does have a place for a small lock in the middle front of the box. It would have to be a small lock, and it is plastic (although a durable kind) so if someone really wanted to get in they could just break off the back hinges. But if you are just going for deterrent factor, or to keep small children from climbing inside it will work.

It doesn't have anything there to put a lock on, however, you might be able to
figure out a way to lock it. Being the kind of material it is, I don't know how secure it would be if you could lock it.

Yes...there is a clasp that meets the lid and the base. You could slip a small lock thru it.

There is a place to put a padlock but my lid does not align properly so I couldn't use it. I don't think it would be too hard to enter if it were locked. I'd use the holes to prevent the lid from opening during a strong wind but NOT for security.

There is a clasp on the front to attach a lock to if desired.

I don't believe you can without drilling a hole through it; the integrity may then be compromised.

Love this bench. Put it at the pool. It has a great little storage space along the entire top. This is perfect to store goggles, ear plugs, masks. It is big and roomy. Holds all our pool toys & floats. Buying another one just to store pool cleaning supplie, pool vacuum, poles etc in because I don't like having them mixed in with toys. Recommend this to everyone. Best one we have ever bought. Made very well.

I bought this storage bin for the pool toys that we're all over the yard. This was extremely easy to put together. No tools needed. It just snaps right into place. I highly recommend .. And for the price it's a no brainer
