The bowl does not turn on its on. You can use your hand to orient it slightly.

On the stand mixers all turntables are free-wheeling and must be turned by hand. The bowl spins on a freely spinning base by the nylon tip of the cone shape beater. The bowl may need to be nudged with your hand to encourage it to spin.

No, a wisk is not included it can be purchased separate.

The only available attachments for this mixer are the beaters and dough hooks, which are included with the mixer.

My daughter is 9 and I bought this for her and she loves it. It was a wonderful price and a discount when picked up from the store I paid 17.00 dollars it was organ ally 30.00 dollars a picture of her holding her 2 layer chocolate cake she made and measured all by herself. Thank you walmart. My daughter over this item it works very well for her because it's not complicated she new how to use it right away I do recommend this item to everyone it's awesome

Easy to use and easy to clean, I like the fact that you can remove the beater and use without the bowl.

It was a reasonable price and I have wanted one for quite some time and plus it will cut my baking time in half for making cookies for the holidays here.

I received one of these 3 years ago as I gift to help me start my cheesecake company. Since then I have grown in production and customer base. The original one purchased died out March 12th at 2:43am and I felt as though I'd lost a close friend, a loved one even. I ordered the new the next day and when it arrived I rejoiced with happiness. Of course my wife and kids were weirded out but they can't understand the bond between a man and his mixer, MY LOVE.

absolutely love this mixer. great mixer for the price. I like that you have the option to hand mix or stand mix. because the mixer isn't as large as a kitchen aide one, you can spin the bowl while locked in place so you can get an even mix inside. very easy to use and clean. sturdy and the speeds are great. all in all I'd say I'm very happy with this purchase. i would recommend to anyone.

I use this about twice a month when I bake cakes, and  it is ok for that. If I had to use it every day, I would get a different mixer. Beaters are hard to attach, and it needs to be unplugged when attaching them. For that reason, I don't think it is safe. Very lightweight with a weak motor. Sometimes you  have to turn the bowl manually. There is no low setting which I don't like.  I had a Kitchen Aid  that was too heavy for me to move so this one works for me. For the reviews that say the bowl quit turning, they may not have it in the correct spot. Nothing is very easy with this mixer, but it works for me. It is good for the price.

Ok for the price, but some issues.

As expected.  Basic stand mixer that will suit the needs for mixing batters.  It's really not sturdy enough to handle tough mixing jobs (think meatloaf and bread dough) but if you're looking for a stand mixer for help with basic mixing jobs and not ready to spend $300 on a sturdier commercial brand, then this is your mixer.

Good stand mixer for day to day baking tasks

Because this was a gift, this isn't a personal review. However, it was for my daughter-in-law who says it works great and she loves it.

Gift That was well-received

I had bought a cheap mixer on "sale" and it came with 2 seperate sets  of beaters. Although they sent me 2 different beaters that didn't match!  And i have yet to take the mixing bowl off from the stand.....you get what you pay for! I would not recommend anyone to buy this mixer set.
