I would go L. I weight 175 and bought the L and fit nicely. I am 5'6.

I'm 5'8" and same weight XL will be much easier to pull on, if the torso is too long for your height you can just pull up the extra fabric it will be disguised by the roushing

I got medium- I am 5'8", 140 lbs. but not large breasts. Don't know if this helps... I just lost 20 lbs, and found that I used L at that weight- XL was always just too boxy for me

Try a size large (12/14). As you may have noticed this is a very forgiving suit and if you're not terribly long in the torso you might find that size to be suitable.

I would definitely not go with the XL, especially since you are losing weight.

Order a large and an Xlarge, return the one that doesn't fit. I did this, I am a DD cup and although the large fits, there is not great support for the girls. I am about 145, and 5ft. 4 if that helps. Good luck with the diet.

I have large breasts and 160lbs 5'2" and I got a large and it is a tiny bit too big but I'm happy with it

I am 5'8 and 200lbs. I also have a rather large belly since giving birth not that long ago and the XL was too big for me. I can fit in it but the L is way more flattering on me. Since I am nursing my breasts are DD at the moment and the L still holds me all in. Your best bet is to buy both and just return which ever one that doesn't work though.

Yes it does stretch and The style is flattering.

It is stretchy. I ordered a size 16 and should have ordered a 14.

It's pretty stretchy and the shirring provides a little extra "give". But I don't know about wearing it at 9 months. It would be great for afterward if you have a belly left over from pregnancy (and who doesn't?) The shirring really helps to hide a less than flat stomach.

I saw your Q while ordering a replacement for my first one of these, bought in 2010. There is a chance that it's different since then, but what happened to me was I ordered the suit in February in preparation for a May cruise. In March, I found out I was pregnant. I was able to wear the suit in May at 3 months along, but since it's a slimming swimsuit, it's made to hold it all in rather than stretch around it. So by summer, I wasn't able to wear it at all. He was born in Nov and I wore it for the next two summers. I only have to replace it because someone tossed a cigarette butt out of a car window and it landed ON MY SUIT that was drying on the railing.

It isn't that stretchy. It is designed to hold you in, like a spanx sort of.

It's fairly stretchy, but I don't know about 9 months pregnant stretchy. Especially if you want to be able to wear it again after without it being totally stretched out and basically ruined. I don't think I've ever owned a swimsuit that I felt like I could wear pregnant without it being totally ruined afterwards because it was too stretched out. Maybe you can borrow a maternity suit from a friend or find one 2nd hand that won't cost too much since you're just using it for a month or so until your baby is born? I love my maternity suit and I got it for $5 when it still looked brand new!

This is slimming. I have it in both XL and L. It is tight to slim over the belly. There is some stretch but I don't think there is enough stretch at all for it to be worn during pregnancy. I feel like it sucks my belly in when I wear it. It makes me look thinner.

It is very stretchy. It's tight to get it on, but that's because the material is meant to hug you and be slimming.

I don't know if this will help: I'm 5'4", weigh 130/134 lbs and am long waisted. Since most of my weight is in the hips but very little (alas) in the bust, I find that this suit in a size small (8/10) is long enough in the torso for me. However, I'd imagine that if you have a bust size that's in proportion to your hips the small might fit. Try it. You can always return it (that's one of the many things I like about Walmart).

That really depends on your measurements. If you normally where a size 4-6 then it should fit you perfectly. If you where a larger size, then I would go with a medium.

Size small will be too big for you, I'd guess. I am 5'6'' 150lbs and Medium is perfect.

I just bought my second and third one of these bathing suits. They fit true to size and are good quality material. I needed a one piece but still wanted something sexy and this is it! I do wish that it had a little more support for the bust, but other than that this suit is perfect and it turns heads! For a sexy, retro one piece and at this price, you can't beat it!
