Hi Sonya. Thank you for pointing out the mistake; It seems those are the box dimensions rather than assembled dimensions. The proper dimensions for the Storkcraft Crescent 4-Drawer Chest are Length 31 inches, Width 17.1 inches, Height 40 inches.

Is there a support beam under the drawers?

It says wood and wood composite in description. Is any of this actually pieces of solid wood??

all pressboard components but the design and construction is very nice.  the drawer lock mechanism that only allows one drawer to open st a time is a great safety feature.  the bottom of the drawers have an additional brace to prevent the bottoms from failing over time.  overall a great product at a reasonable price.

Worth the money! Great buy just read the instructions and take your time! Everything will come out right and in line. Perfect for my little one ♡

Not too bad at all!

It looks nice and feels sturdy. It took FOREVER to put together. Like basically a whole working day by myself. 6 hours, and I barely took a snack break! So many screws. 

The drawers only seem to pull out like halfway, so you have to reach in to get to the back of the drawers or kind of stuff things in there. My friend ended up telling me that is a common thing with kid furniture. I had bought this dresser for myself because it was the perfect size and price.  

I don't know if I didn't screw the nail in perfectly somewhere or something, but two of the drawers don't just slide open/shut properly. I have to maneuver them shut with a little difficulty. No way was I going back in there unscrewing things to figure out where it went wrong! lol. I'm not sure I would ever buy this again. Maybe if I had someone put it together with me to cut the time in half, or just pay a professional.

The screws to the drawers didn't fit properly.   We are unable to use all the drawers. :(
