I have killed large wasps with it with no problem... fried that sucker quick... a bumblebee should be no problem

I bought two of this item, one for work and one for home. It runs on two C batteries and pretty much sounds like thunder when you hit a bug with it. Only had it for a day now but we know it kills gnats instantly.

Works Great, Be careful using though...

I just received my bug zapper and either my batteries are not very good because most of the time I can't get the zapper to turn on. when it does, it works very well. Thinking I need to buy better quality batteries. I would recommend it to anyone interested in buying it. I do wish that the on button would stay on....my thumb gets tired of holding it to the on position.

Nice quality

We are on our third summer using a Bug Zapper Racket of some kind. I purchased this one after our old one died from being left out in the rain while camping. Our new one is now up and working just fine.

Worked As Advertised

It does a great job of killing, or at least stunning any insect. Even spiders, so you can stop them in there tracks and squish them to make sure they're dead. The only issue is that you have to touch it with the inside grid, the outer ones aren't electrified for safety reasons. Other than that, it works great! Much safer than using insecticides.

Almost Perfect

Looks like picture and works like it said. It's actually fun to get the flying beasts. HahHa! Take that you bee!!

Good Product

On first use, the activation light was on... then off. Shake it and it turns on again. One would figure that something so simple and mass produced wouldn't have such simple defects like battery contacts. The product itself is ok (when working). It has safety mesh on both sides with the zapping mesh in the middle. My previous model without the safety mesh was more effective. It seems that some bugs are just bouncing off the outside safety mesh and don't hit the center. Bigger surface area than my previous zapper which is more convenient when the bugs actually get through.

Keep your receipt. May not work.

bought 2 and only one works returning this week

bad experience

Added batteries, she fired up, then was dead in 2 days, would not work I returned it for a refund. I then read other reviews on the web, it's a loser.

Broke in2 days

This worked once and that was it. Seems to be (maybe) that the slider switch isn't making enough contact. The switch is made of hard plastic that is too rigid to glide well enough to get it operable. Also, you have to keep your thumb depressed on the switch while using. Figured what the heck, I'll remove the three screws and check it out. Can't do, the third screw had a messed up head making it impossible to turn. No, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone; doesn't even deserve one star!
