no did not come with case I just left mine in the box and stuck it in the trunk or in your consoe if it will fit I would check to see if every thing is with it make sure its charged and then store it in one of these locations I mention if you purchase one

No but the unit is small enough to fit in a simple inexpensive fanny pack with the supplied connections to the USB port or the accessory port. That is the way I have my unit stored.

No, it does not. I bought some bed sheets that came in a matching drawstring bag. I don't use the bag, so, I am using that as my 'carry' case to keep the cord and other attachments together.

No, it doesn&#39;t come with a carrying case -- but I measured the unit and cables, and bought a large cosmetic bag from eBay that will do the trick. I think a gallon-sized Ziploc bag might work, too.

Yes. I did a review for this and that is what we tried it on as we have a small mitey toon pontoon also with an electric motor and within a few minutes our battery was totally charged to full.

Yes, this should be able to boost your trolling motor battery.

It will be able to charge the battery, but not sure if it would power the motor or not. I don't have one to try it out.

This will "NOT" recharge a deep cycle trolling motor type battery and give you any signigficant run time. 
If  You manage to discharge your trolling motor battery to the point where the motor will not run and You're more than a two or three minute distance from your launch area, I hope you have paddles. 
This thing is designed to give a short burst of power to an automotive battery which will start a car, and then let the alternator bring the battery back to normal if it doesn't have a bad cell. 
You would be much better off purchasing a tractor or lawn mower battery for about the same price as this unit. A 20amp hour  battery will give you close to a half hour of motor power for a motor that pulls 40 amps at the high speed setting.

If the 12v battery for trolling motor on small pontoon lake boat loses charge, can unit provide enough battery charge for short return to shore

No, it absolutely will not.  This unit is a cheap made piece of crap that wouldn't even start my 4.0L V6 Explorer .  It will not even start to turn a V8 with a dead battery.

Ok, so I am writing this review for the Stanley simple start lithium-ion battery booster. I have had a couple of similar booster packs for my vehicles in the past and feel they are a must have emergency item for all vehicles. I am using this one for my primary vehicle now. I like this one better then any of the others I have tried. That's because it is more compact, has the accessory outlet option, emergency led light, and the usb port for charging any device or phone that has a usb charger option. That is an especially nice feature that my other booster packs didn't have. I know from experience that these booster packs can be a real life saver. And if you do end up with a dead battery and you don't want to get out of the car and be exposed to the weather, you have the option of using any of your vehicles accessory outlets to charge the battery and start the car. And if you have to call for help but have a dead phone, you can plug it into the usb port and charge your phone! I want one of these for each of my vehicles now and plan to get more. I added a picture so you could see the actual size. It fits easily in my glove box! I love this product!

Nice compact battery booster!

I received this product from Walmart Spark Reviewer free of cost for my honest review. This is the perfect gift for that gadget lover in your house. Just in time for Christmas! I haven't had a chance or opportunity to use this as I have a brand new car, but I wanted it for peace of mind. As stated, it's small and compact and is built to do exactly what you need it to do. I can't tell you how many times I could have used this item with my other car, but I'm also the type of person that will help someone in need (of course, only when it's safe to do so--you have to be SO careful these days). This is just what you need to make you feel safer on the road.

I believe any guy (or girl--like me!) would LOVE to have this as a Christmas gift. Not just for a tool junky, it would be the perfect gift for a student, mom, wife, and, of course, husband. I would be very happy to find this under the tree!!!

Great little compact unit!

After receiving my new Stanley Simple Start Lithium-Ion Battery Booster and removing it from the box. I found it came with a 120 volt charging adapter, a set of battery clamps with 12 inches of cable that plugs in to the battery booster and a 12 volt lighter outlet plug on a 16 inch cable for charging the booster from your car or charging your car from your booster. Either way it will work.

So the first thing I did was plug the booster in to a 120 volt outlet to let it fully charge. The user manual did not say, but I have found that when you are charging the booster, the light ring around the main power button will flash the color of the state of charge that is in the booster as it is charging (Red=under 40%, Yellow=41-79% & Blue is 80-100% of charge). At the same time I turned my car radio and parking lamps on to drain the battery. After about 5 hours the booster was fully charged and my cay was dead. I hooked up a volt meter to my car and it showed 6 volts. So I hooked the battery clamps on and pressed the power button to the booster on and to start the charge. I went inside and when I returned about 20 minutes later the booster light ring was green showing that my cars battery was now fully charged. So I got in and the car started right up with no problems at all. A few days later I tried to recharge the booster with the home adapter, but found that it would not charge. I tried everything I could think of, but no luck. So I called the company and they sent me a replacement with no problems at all.

Over all I really like the Stanley Simple Start Booster and think everybody should have one on hand for these emergencies when you find your car has a dead battery or that your cell phone battery is running low. It will even charge that too along with MP3 player, tablets, etc. It even has a small flash light built in just in case so you can see what you're doing in the dark. You will not regret picking up one of these.

This Stanley Simple Start Lithium-Ion Battery Booster is what I have always needed. Do you know how many times in my life I needed a jump? Unfortunately, a lot! Well for a woman it's an uneasy feeling. Frustrating at that. Well I feel as if my problems are solved by having this Stanley Simple Start Lithium-Ion Batter Booster in my car at all times. It's small enough to fit in the glove compartment or you can just leave it in the trunk. As the name describes, it is simple to use. You must first charge it up for about twelve hours. While charging the indicator light will flash blue. When the Stanley Simple Start Lithium-Ion Battery Booster is fully charged it will be on a steady blue light. There are different color lights that will warn you of several issues your battery may be having. You must keep the simple guide pamphlet with it at all times so you will know what each color or multi-colors indicate. This device can be used in two ways. You can choose to clamp it on to your batteries to recharge it or you can choose to plug it in from inside the vehicle. I think this is great because if your car battery die in an area that's not safe, then you can actually reboot your battery from the safety of your car. Also, it's not just for cars. It's for motorcycles, and trucks as well. I would definitely recommend this Stanley Simple Start Lithium-Ion Battery Booster to anyone that drives. It would also make a,great gift for anyone. Especially those people that are difficult to shop for.

Great invention

We were not sure what to expect from this charger. My husband is a big fan of the Stanley product line, so we expected good things. We were not disappointed.

I have included a photo of everything you receive in the box. You get the charger unit, a/c charger adapter, charger for the cigarette lighter in your vehicle, and small jumper cables to jump start your battery. The entire unit weighs less than two pounds, and makes it easy for anyone to use. Some of the claims of the unit that mean little to me include having "cold start intelligence" and "reverse polarity protection", which I guess means it won't shock you while using it, and will tell you if you have it hooked up wrong to your vehicle battery.

You need to charge the unit fully before using. This unit uses lithium ion battery power. We did this via the regular a/c charger that plugs in. It took about two and a half hours to get fully charged. There are lights on the top of the charger that let you know when it is fully charged. While charging, the center light blinks blue. The charge supposedly will hold if unused up to 11-12 months, which makes it a fabulous thing to have with you. The only thing that could possibly make it better is to have a drawstring case to tuck it all into, but that's minor

We thankfully have not needed to test the battery charging part of this, but are definitely keeping it in our vehicle for emergency use. You can supposedly either take the unit to your engine and hook up the chargers to the battery like the regular giant charger sets, or charge from inside your vehicle via the cigarette lighter area.

This unit comes with a USB charging port and flashlight as well. We did test the phone charging capacity via USB cord, and it worked like a charm, quickly charging up the dead cell phone battery. The flashlight would definitely be a good thing to have as well, even though for most cases, I'd recommend using a regular flashlight instead. This one, while powerful and bright, is still very small.

Overall, I am very happy we have this, and it brings a little more peace of mind about being on the road, especially in the winter. Sometimes, it can take a long time to get someone to help with a dead battery. This will help to eliminate that need. The safety factor for women to be able to charge a dead battery from inside the car just can't be beat either. We give both thumbs up to this highly-portable Stanley Battery Booster.

GREAT thing for everyone, esp women, to have.

Love love love this! It has the seal of approval from my husband but let me tell you, this is a must have for any woman too. Its not heavy at all, easy to charge, and it has so many uses! First, its pretty light. Not only is it lightweight but its compact also. It can fit underneath seats and in some vehicles, in the center console. So, no worries about taking up a lot of space in the trunk. As the picture shows, you can see the size of the charger in relation to one of my remotes. The other thing I love about this is the many functions. It can charge your phone or tablet if you are in a bind. It can provide light when you need to at night if you need to look under your hood or need additional light inside your vehicle. It can jump your car by plugging it into your car charger. And, as if all of that was not enough, it also comes with jumper cables if you would like to jump your battery or let someone else jump their battery. This compact charger really does pack a bang for its buck. For under $60 bucks you get so many things in one package. And its in such a small package that you can forget its hidden in your vehicle.

I got this for one of our older vehicles. The battery has always given us problems since we've had it. Every time my husband had to mow our yard, it would require him using jumper cables to even get it to crank. Therefore, we felt this would be a great item for us. We tried using it on our vehicle and come to find out we have a "faulty battery". We used it on another vehicle of ours (that does not get drove much) and it only took about 5-10 minutes to charge the battery. This product was fairly easy to figure out. You can charge your battery using the included jumper cables or you can use the car port charger to charge it. We tried both and it did great. It does get slightly warm to the touch while charging. I feel that this would be great for anyone to keep in the car in case of an emergency. You can easily "charge" your battery from the safety and warmth of your car (in case you are in an unfamiliar area or it is freezing outside). I would most definitely recommend this to anyone that drives. I think it is a great product and will help us out a LOT when we may need it the most.
