You can clear/reset the step count to zero by pressing and holding the front "Mode" button for approximately 5 seconds.

It is pretty good about detecting steps, so it should work on a treadmill. It's still walking/running.

It stays on all the time - an no there's no way to turn it off. So far that has not been a problem for me

I haven't found any way to turn it off at night. I didn't see anything in the instruction manual either. I have used mine every day for the last two weeks and it hasn't run out of battery yet, so I don't think it's a problem that it is always on.

You can resist on back of pedometer,directions that comes with it are also easy to read,and follow.

Mine stayed on all the time, and lasted at least 10 months. I don&#39;t know how to get the battery out, or I would have already replaced it. I love it, and will buy another one if I can&#39;t replace the battery. I usually clipped it to my bra, but found that it&#39;s accurate in my pocket, or even in my purse if I&#39;m carrying it.

I love the design which allows you to attach it to your shoes when you're unable to clip it to your pants or skirt. And it's very accurate than most I've had in the past. Plus with the others, they kept falling onto the floor. Haven't had the problem with this one because of it secure clip.

Best one yet

This is the best I have found.  It is accurate and works well.  I just want to know steps and calories,  not all that other jazz.  It hooks on your shoes and clips so it does not fall off.  I was not sure about hooking it to my shoes, but it works well and thinking about it, your feet make the steps, it makes the most sense.

Pedometer

I don't have much experience with pedometers so not much to compare it to. It had good reviews from others. It seems to do the job. I like that you can't accidentally clear it out by pressing the button once. Other people have told me that if they accidentally hit the reset button, they start over on other pedometers. You need to hold this one for 3 seconds to clear it out. I told my mom about it and she bought one and thinks it is better than the other one she has.

I am overweight and usually wear elastic waists. I can put this pedometer in my pocket instead. It has clear instructions to follow. I especially like that it has a wire clip instead of a molded plastic one making it less likely to break. And even if it does break, since I can put it in my pocket I can still use it!

Great for people who don't always wear belts.

I have used this for less than a week, but it has been a good experience. It took just a few seconds, maybe a minute or two to set up, once I had that done I put it in my pocket and went about my day, it was really fun to look at it once in a while to see how I was doing. It made me want to take the extra steps out of my way to increase calorie usage and to increase the number of steps, so I am hoping it will help me lose some weight; that was the purpose of my purchase.
Over all this is really easy to use and a great purchase!

Better pedometer than I expected!

This is a great product for the price. I got it because I wanted to measure calories burned and miles walked. but it also tracks steps taken and time spent being active. All of which will surprise you if this is your first time tracking such things.
It's easy to set up and use. You can let it auto set the stride by the height information you put in or you can manually set your stride. It knows if you're really walking or just swinging your foot. No cheating with this puppy. I love it. I find myself checking it frequently just because I have now set a goal of walking 3 miles a day while at work. So I find myself making extra trips to the production floor to check on computers and people. This is an awesome value. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to track and reach activity goals,
I wear it ALL the time except at night when sleeping. I could then too but choose not to. I love this Tracker! It's compact, easy to use and loaded with info. I clip it to my shoe but, but you can clip it to your pants pocket, belt, in your pocket (any pocket) the sensors seem sensitive enough to pick up correct movement. AND it's the 1st clip I've seen that WORKS. You won't loose this.

Sportline Digital tracker

This is very reliable and use it everyday. Easy to use. I put it on my sneakers.  My daughter put it on her jeans but don't put near belly, we found out that it can reset it set if your leaning against it. My advice is to put it near hips.

The only problem with sneakers is it can sometimes fall off. I actually lost one because I didn't know it came off.   My solution, take a wire tie from bread and use that. Take wire tie and put around the shoelaces and the pedometer, no chance of it coming off now.

I got this pedometer because I was looking for a low end pedometer to keep track of steps for a fitness challenge my work is doing. It works great! I don't know how accurate it is because I don't have any way to measure its accuracy, but it seems like it does really well to me! Great buy for someone who just wants to keep track of steps and distance walked!
