Wow! This is really cool, and has a lot of special features I wasn't expecting. You can scan items with the bar code and weigh items! The shopping bag is cute and fits all the little boxes of pretend Great Value food. I laminated the paper money for reuse, and it even comes with coins. Light weight and good for transport. Even contains a compartment to store items. I wish I had this toy as a kid. For now, my four year old loves it.

Amazing Features!

Needs 2 AA batteries, but other than that this thing comes with everything your little shopper needs to start up some serious play time!!! It includes a felt grocery bag, fake paper boxes that look like groceries, fake paper money, plastic coins, a little plastic debit card and has a cashier drawer along with a side storage compartment. It's really cute and has lots of keys that say different things and also show up on the screen. It's also great for a huge range of ages. My 5 year old loves it but so does my 10 year old. They literally haven't put it down since it came! Definitely keeps them entertained for hours and it's great pretend play with some real life experience thrown in there!

This thing is so super cute!!!!

My 6 year old loves this toy! It keeps him busy for a long time. It only comes with a few items for scanning but my kids have tons of play food, they scan everything! They even scanned their tablets lol It makes a beeping sound when it scans and they have lots of options like pay cash, pay card,search, gift card, weigh item, etc It has a keypad that they can enter a price which helps with adding money :)
It also has a small storage compartment and a money drawer that opens! It comes with some play money and coins.
It is a nice compact size.

Great toy!

My kids absolutely love this set and they have not stopped playing with it. They says that their favorite thing is that you can actually scan the little boxes of stuff it comes with and it shows how much the items cost. They also really liked that it has a place to insert the credit card just like at a real store. I like all the little functions and options it has. This is for sure a cool set and would make a great gift!

My granddaughter loves her register. She plays with every day with my grandson and now I'm going to get him one for his birthday.

I cannot rave enough about this checkout register! It came with visually appealing pastel colors, although I wish there was one in more blue hues for little boys. This set included 4 boxes, play money & coins, one play credit card, and a small recyclable grocery bag. The register requires 2 AA batteries, which are not included. My child was so excited to try this out! I have to admit, I had a great time with this toy as well! There's a scanner that beeps whenever you run any object under it. You can either scan items, weigh items or personally input the price of items that you want to tally with the register upon checkout. The digital screen where scanned items and pricing for objects appear is easy to see. The register drawer will pop open with a quick press of the open button. To the right of the register is a credit card scanner where you can actually insert the included credit card, wait for the toy to process the credit card, and then a message will show "remove card" when the transaction is done! The keypad on the credit card scanner is just for looks. You can't depress the buttons or anything but the register buttons work and make beeping noises as you press them. There is also a little storage compartment attached to this set. I wish I had one of these when I was little. It is such a fun set to incorporate into any child's playtime! I just hope all the buttons and sounds are long lasting and continue to work right. We've only had this item for a couple of days upon the writing of this review.

Excellent addition to playtime!

This is a cute little cash machine. My children ages 3-8 all love to play with it but the 8 yr old becomes bored with it quickly which is expected. It is lightweight so my youngest can carry it around the house easily. The light pink and grey colors are a nice change from the super bright pink one we got for our older daughter a few years ago. Drawer pops open smoothly but if the money is inside the closed drawer do not hold the toy upside down. The money will slide back deep into the machine and become stuck. It will also make the drawer stuck closed. Learned this the hard way. The little bag of groceries is adorable. All 3 of my children love them. My 4 year old loves scanning the items and opening the drawer. The scan feature while fun continues to scan and add items when nothing is being scanned. This is annoying to my older children and myself but the 3 year old doesn't seem to care. The screen is a little low making it a bit difficult to scan items some times. Putting the credit card in like mommy and daddy do at the store is exciting for for my 3year old. The credit card is rather small though. I am sure it will be lost quickly. Says it is a touchscreen register but clearly you push buttons to play. No big deal to us but some might be upset by this. The storage compartment is a nice addition but you can only fit two of the food items inside. The money is cute but not accurate to real life US currency. It confuses my 6 yr old who is learning how to count money.

Big Con: Both the box and the manual stated "batteries included" but there were none.

Overall, a nice toy for younger children that older siblings may find fun for a little bit.

I like all the sounds and compartments this toy has.
She love using the cash register to get out the money.
This is perfect for pretend play.

Love it!

My 8 yr old and 4 yr old love this cash register! The scanning and credit card machine are their favorite features. When we first opened it, they immediately set up a little market and took turns shopping and being the store clerk. Although they love the credit card feature they get frustrated that the card always falls out of the reader, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Fun for all ages!

This check out play set is trash! I mean The idea and the display of this toy was amazing. My kid and I were so excited to play with this checkout but the electrical part of this toy is a joke. After it arrived we where so excited heart pumping with joy! So we added batteries and for a quick second we where able to scan a few item and even pay with the card, got all the way to the toy saying thank you then it went dead! Where were like hun! How these are new batteries so i got More new batteries and now it's not saying or doing nothing it's like wow unbelievable this toy could of earned a 4 star but sorry not sorry I'm disappointed. Plus the display when it did turn on was way to bright can't even see it.
