I use 21x22 and works great. Another inch won't hurt at all.

Yes. You tuck the corners under the clamp which holds it into place. If you want it to fit/look neater you may fold the length and width edges under before clamping the corners down. If you pick up larger pads on sale they can still be used.

My 21" x 23" pads work in it, so I would presume a 22" x 22" pad would work just as well.

Yes, but it only latches at the corners... which caused my puppy to shred it to pieces and make a worse mess than with no tray.

Yes. I purchased the 21" x 23" pads, and they fit, so your 22" x 22" should be fine.

I would say yes as I use 23x 25 and they are slightly too large by about 1 or 2 inches: I just tuck in the excess . As long as not smaller than 21'' should be OK .

Yes, the pad sits on top of the plastic. You can wipe down the plastic if the pad leaks.

This one is more like a square tray with clamps on each corner to hold the pad & stop it from getting all rucked up . You can wipe down the base easily.

Excellent product! It took a few days for our year and a half old Yorkie to accept the change but the seven month old Yorkie took to it right away.

Keeps the pad in place as my pug tends to squirm around a lot when using it. The pads I have are slightly bigger than needed (23x 25) but the excess tucks in to the holder OK.

justt what I wanted

I ordered this pad holder because my little chihuahua likes to urinate on the edge of the pad and it would always run underneath, leaving a mess to clean up. This holder has almost eliminated that problem. The edges of the pad curl up and spread a little over the edge of the holder which makes the urine flow back onto the pad. I use the Blue Ribbon Deluxe training pads, which are a little larger than the holder and it works out perfectly. The holder holds the pads in place by clamping down on the corners of the the pad. I would recommend this product.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this, but, as soon as it arrived I put a training pad on it and low and behold by evening my three little dogs were using it, to potty on and tinkle on. I couldn't believe my eyes. Certainly has kept their living quarters clean. I just pull the latches, pick up the four corners and drop it in the outside garbage can. Sometimes the male dog will relieve himself then scratch on the pad but not enough to really damage it.The latches hold the pad really well and I really like that it can be folded up and carried with you when you travel. I love it and they do too.

great product for a reasonable price.

I have 2 small dogs and they use the pads when I'm not home. This tray works great for keeping the pads in place and no leaks on the floor when they hit the edge.

This product is excellent I have bought several training pad holders for our 2 Pomeranians puppies. It helps keep your floors clean with four buckle enclosures that secure your dog's training pad in place, and is very easy to clean as it crafted from plastic. I would recommend this product to anyone with smaller dogs or puppies!

Great idea! Would work wonderful if I could get me puppy to step upon it. Probably because I trained him just on pads on floor could be part of problem. Will keep trying to get him to go on it. Would keep area much cleaner.

It's simply a plastic frame designed to hold puppy pads. It's a simple design, and it does what it says. The pads tuck in at the corners. Reasonable size. Haven't experienced any problems.

Meets expectations

It serves it's purpose. The corner clips are not easy to open. When the wee wee is dirty it's not fun to have to struggle with them. They really need something on the bottom to help stop it from slidding.

My puppy has been "playing" with her pad. She runs around and balls it all up, leaving me with a nice mess to clean up every time I wake up in the morning or get home from work. So I finally got fed up today and bought this hoping it would help. Not only did it NOT help... it made it worse! Since it only latches at the corners of the pads, she literally shred this to pieces within 5 minutes of it being placed in her pen.... this is a 4 lb chihuahua we're talking about here... oh well. Just ordered the small Iris Floor Protection Tray and the Richell PAW TRAX Training Tray and hopefully one of these will work! *Fingers Crossed!*
