1. Depending on the amount of paper shredded, I would use one oil sheet for 40 pages (this is an estimate). I don't shred 8 pages at one time even though the directions say it's ok.

It really depends on how much use your shredder gets, but no more than once a month if it gets heavy use. Yes, the cutters are the only parts that need lubricating.

The instructions indicate you should run a shredder sheet through the shredder after about thirty minutes of shredding or about once a month. Unplug the shredder before you put the sheet through and clean it out from stray paper or any clogs. A letter opener is a good tool for this. This is the only oiling it needs.

When I brought my shredder at another location, was not aware that I should have brought these sheets (Oil Essentials) as didn't realize it would burn up the shredder - as this happened with my other one!) -- Didn't want to drive to Evansville (65 miles) just to get some sheets so this from WalMart's delivery was quicker & cheaper too! Needed these sheets

I give these sheets credit for keeping my shredder running smoothly, for years.  I  run one sheet through the shredder once a month, following directions. If we have an extra large bundle of things to shred, I do it more often. Easy, no mess. Appreciate the free delivery to our walmart, and service is always speedy when we go to pick up any package at our store.  Recommend  to anyone who doesn't want to keep replacing shredders.

Keeps my shredder running

There's really not much to say about lubricating shredder sheets. They are sized to fit standard and half size shredders and the price was much lower than what others are charging.
