Yes it slims you well in the tummy and love handle area.

Yes. It did do a good job on my love handles/muffin top. Where it fails is in the thighs.

I would say it reduces it a little. Certainly does not "enhance" these issues. The suit has a little "control" all over. You can feel the "tightness" of it. Sort of holds you in.

I think the "shirring" on the swimsuit camoflauges love handles; I'm curvy in my hips and thighs but the lycra in the suit accentuates my waistline. Hope this helps...

This suit will slim you but not extremely so. The manufacturers these days do not seem to know how to do that. They forget that we need additional support all through the suit and not just in the front, so waistlines and the back are not really pulled in. A swimdress style with a whole underlining would probably be better

YES! Absolutely. This suit isn't an addition to swimsuits you buy and aren't entirely pleased with. This is a suit that will make you forget about your cover slip and won't be dreading the first steps you take on a beach worrying about how you first looked in the mirror before you left. I look like I lost fifteen pounds in my stomach. The suit defines your curves and makes an hourglass effect. Unless you have disproportionate hips and love handles, you won't have a problem.

Oh I have love handles/muffin top which is why I decided to go with a one piece this year and boy does it work! This suit gives you such a flattering shape it is really amazing!

I have the same problem, to me the suit doesn't hide it well. The suit at the bottom kinda gives a granny look on me I'm not sure about other ladies. But I always wear shorts or a swimskirt so it wasn't a big deal to me.

Horrible for heavy thighs, and isn't long enough to hide cellulite. I think you'd be better off getting a different suit with a board short or swim skirt bottom.

It doesn't cover much of the thigh at all. Shorts might look a little awkward, but a skirt would be adorable.

This suit is not flattering to the thighs. It creates a big horizontal line right across them, without the benefit of high cut, flattering leg holes. There's another reviewer who wears shorts over it, I wouldn't though, because of all the extra material on the front, though. If you wore something over it, it might make your tummy look bigger

The bathing suit has a little skirt thing that comes down a little lower than it normally would. It basically covers the lady parts and not any further than that. I don't think it would be a problem to put a board short or skirt over it though. its not that long.

This is a nice, slimming suit, but it does not cover the thighs at all; the faux skirt stops just at the base of the hips. I would suggest purchasing a sarong or pareo if you want to conceal your thighs.

The shirring is all the way down the front so a swim skirt would not lay flat.
Swimshort type swimsuits or suits with skirts would probably work better for thigh coverage.

This suit ends before it gets to the thighs. It doesn't cover anything. I think shorts or a swim skirt would look fine over it.

No thigh coverage. It definitely accentuates your thighs. I think board shorts might look strange with the retro-styling of the top, but I think a skirt would look nice with it. There is ruching at the belly/hips of this suit, so keep that in mind when choosing a swim skirt.

I have loose skin, dimples and don't care to put my thighs out for everyone to see, but the suit is so flattering to every other part of the body and I always wrap a pareo low on my hips when not in the water... The suit does wonders with tummy, great support for chest, 38DD, had to get XL for that reason. The bottom front does not come down far enough to interfere with wearing board shorts at all! My Daughter By Law loves the suit also, just gave me two beautiful granddaughters, 5 grandchildren all together, she rocks it!
The suit is Beautiful, well made and is the closest I can find to the one my Grandmother wore on the beach in France back in the day...

I have cellulite on my thighs. Does this swimsuit provide coverage for the thighs? Would a board short or swim skirt work over this suit?

It's not low cut at all and you can use the straps to support your chest. I think you'd be pleased with it.

It really has good support for not having a wire. I'm a DD and it shows some clevage without the fear of falling out. I'd say a perfect combo of sexy and modesty.

It will definitely provide a good deal of support, and I think due to your bra size you will be good to go in the cleavage department. I just did a review, check out the picture.

I'm not sure what look you are going for, but this swimsuit is very vintage looking. Meaning, 1950's in which they did not really show too much clevage. However, the swimsuit is very sexy.

I wear a 36D and I had good support and little cleavage. If your boobs are a D cup or larger, you are going to have some cleavage in just about everything. It's almost impossible to cover it all.

This is my third suit from this brand and style. The fit is perfect, I think the quality is compable to suits in a much higher price range. These suits are a real value.
