Very sturdy, does not look cheap, super easy to put together. It's also versatile in shelf placement, total length can be adjusted, and you can use either one or 2 rods. The bronze color gives it a classier look. It was well worth it compared to the dozens of other products that I looked at. Love it!

Excellent in every way!

My boyfriend and I recently moved into a space with no closets, so we purchased this, hoping it'd work. It is fabulous. We have quite a bit of stuff on it, and it's still very sturdy (on carpet). The hanging bars are not expanded at all, so I'm sure it would be a little less stable the more we expanded it, but as it is, it's very sturdy. We've had cats jump up onto the shelves, and the thing barely wobbles. It's a bit industrial looking, but keeps things organized well. It took my boyfriend and his friend about 20 minutes to put it together, and it only needed a screwdriver for the end. Well worth the price, I say.

It's sturdy & holds tons n tons of clothes. i was reluctant to purchase this at first.. but im glad i did so. im in love with it. putting it together was a bit of a challenge. i was so anxious and impatient. this needs time and patience. But i promise you won't regret this purchase!!

Beyond satisfied!

Not only did I receive the product before I expected to, the product itself exceeded my expectations. It looks nice, went together easily and comes with all the hardware needed, down to the wall anchors, both screws for going into a stud and going into dry wall. At one point we thought we were going to have to contact the manufacturer because on of the black "brackets" for the shelving was broken. We went ahead and used it, when we got to the end we found that they had given 4 extra pieces just in case something like that happened. We were thrilled.

Far above my expectations

My daughter's room is very small and had no closet. We bought this and it was perfect! Very easy to put together (read the directions though!) and very sturdy. I read all reviews before buying this and it helped a lot. She loves it and it freed up a lot of much needed space!

Great value! Perfect space saver!

I love this product. It makes everything so organized. It was worth the price. I made a spare bedroom out of a closet and this was perfect for the look I was going for. I would recommend this product to anyone. It holds my clothes, shoes, purses, ect well. Although I am not done hanging up my clothes or getting the room closet together, its a start and its working out well.

Just what I wanted

Excellent

I've tried every closet out there, which all of them happen to be plastic and broke after two weeks. I saw this metal closet from Walmart and knew it was perfect. It was easy to assemble and and so STURDY. I was shocked when I found out that it can be expanded. I actually couldn't use the full length of the rack because I didnt have anymore room to expand it further. The closet is PERFECT. Everyone that comes over loves it. Nice chrome color and real metal. Nice compartments on each side to put folded clothes and shoes. And I still have extra room to put more clothes. I would highly recommended this if your looking for a perfect closet. It doesnt get any better than this and its under priced if you ask me. I would have paid way more for this closet.

The only small con is that if you put pants or shirts on the bottom rack they will be on the floor. Not a big issue but just wish the bottom rack was a little higher as I dont like my clothes touching the floor. But hey my carpet is clean so no biggie. I also did site to store, where they shipped to a Walmart near me and I went to pick it up to save on shipping but this thing is HEAVY in the box. So shipping would probably be expensive. Its at least 90lbs in the box.

BEST CLOSET EVER!!

This item was more value-inclusive than I imagined. I was expecting a prissy, thin gauge tub ular steel frame. But, let me tell you something: this is heavy duty. It's not heavy in weight but it's like an ant...it holds 10x its weight. Also, I was expecting this to be a rigidly designed frame, but it is flexible in its configuration. By that, I mean, you can set it up to extend up to 7 ft. Wide. This option allows for unique setup. I am a big guy and my clothes are long. I expected my clothes to hang on the floor, but no, they don't. The side shelving was used to hold sweaters and t-shirts and other odd items that don't need or resist hangers. I use this in combination with the closet space which I couldn't get authorization to modify. I wanted to build a closet system, which would've looked exactly the way this was designed, except that it would've been wooden and I wouldn't have been able to take it with me when I moved. Oh, and the setup isn't one of those that requires tools to build and break down. It uses gravity to lock in place. There are just 4 screws to use on the hanger poles (Phillips head). It might take 10 minutes to complete once you get the flow of things. The instructions could've been a bit more clear, but keep an eye on the picture on the box to keep your direction. Be sure to do the poles then clip the plastic stoppers before laying the shelves and it almost puts itself together. You will be happy with it. Check out my pictures for ideas of my configuration.

Provides space for items I hadn't thought about

I needed something to replace the cheap shelf-hanger thing that had fallen out of the wall in my closet. Since the Seville Classics Expandable Steel Wire Closet Organizer clocked in at $100 (vs how much the really nice closet organizers cost), combined with the positive ratings, I thought I'd give it a try.

The unit is really easy to put together. I like how the shelves in the shelving towers can be set up to any location. Once set, they could be adjusted somewhat again with effort, but the option is there.

Once put together, the towers were pretty solid on their own when the two towers are connected via the two clothes-hanging bars. Being made of solid metal, this closet organizer is very sturdy, which I was very pleased with.

My only problem with the unit is that although the official pictures show it easily being able to hang clothing from the upper and lower bar, reality is somewhat different. In order to have my 2X shirts not dragging the ground, I had to set the lower bar a lot higher than what the instructions suggested. Setting the upper bar as high as possible (just below the upper shelf), the 2X shirts did dragged deep into the lower bar instead of having clearance. For kids clothing, the 2-bar clothes-hanging element would easily work. For adults, more so the bigger you are, it doesn't work. The unit would need to be a foot taller to work properly.

My own plan is to drop the lower bar down some and use it as a stabilizer. Then I'll use the upper bar to hang whatever articles I want hung. With that in mind, I will probably replace the other two cheap things currently installed in my closet with two more Seville Classics Expandable Steel Wire Closet Organizers.

Bottom line: Solid, metal closet organizer that is easy to build and put into a closet. The two hanging bar part of the unit only works for smaller-sized clothing, so for many adults, only one bar would be used for hanging clothing.

Good, Sturdy Closet Organizer With One Problem

I returned the item, I had bought one previously and wanted another one. Unfortunately, the new model is much smaller and weaker than the one I bought last year. Half the product for the same price.
