No it&#39;s not magnetic.  Each letter has well in the brief case. You stick it in the well. The letter shaped well has a little thumb tab from where you can pop the letter out. The letters  fit very well in the place.

No they are not magnetic. You have to press them in the place in the brief case. They snap in the case. This is  pretty sturdy set. Almost two years still my son using it.

No.  They snap into each space securely and the case is very durable.  Yet it is still easy for your child to remove the letters.  My son loves this toy.

No, however they click in and stay there until you are ready to click them out. My Grandson is two and he can easy push them in and get them out. He&#39;s had this for a few months and hasn&#39;t lost a single piece.

This is very well made set. Better than the magnetic sets on the market. Edges are not sharp. Each letter has its well. You stick the letter in the well. The brief case serve as a storage. Very good to carry it in the car when traveling. My 15 month old son like puzzles, opening and closing boxes. He loves the set and plays with it for hours.  Makes a very a good gift. Worth every penny.

This is a Christmas gift for a 3 year old  almost 4 years old,  so haven't actually seen it out of the case.  ButI think he will like it as he is learning his letters now.

Elmo's Letters

Great toy for 2-4 year olds. My kids love it because they can keep taking the letters out, and I love it because it helps them learn their letters! Easy to clean up and put away also because of the carrying case.

My daughter loved snapping the letters in and out of the spaces, reciting each letter as she goes! I love that all the letters have a snazzy little suitcase to live in and take to-go easily.

Cute and Self-Contained

I purchased this for my two year old and he loves it. I appreciate that it isn't noisy like a lot of kids toys tend to be. It keeps his interest and he's beginning to recognize where to properly place the letters. Would recommend.

Our 2 year old daughter loves Sesame Street, so buying her the alphabet set was a win. She loves the puzzle, sounding out the words and names behind each alphabet letter and there is even a section to learn new words towards the bottom. It's a great tool to make a connection to words she may come across each day. When we watch Sesaame Street she sounds out the first letters of each popular character's name and this alphabet set makes it even more enjoyable for her.

We travel with it all the time and it's easy to clean up which we love! Great buy!

Excellent educational toy

This Elmo alphabet toy is cute and well made. It even comes with a carrying case. I think it will be a favorite with my  two-year old grandson.

This is cute for the 2 year old grandchild, she carries it with her, good to occupy her while she has to sit and wait with Mommy. The description says it about size 10x20, but that is not how the manufacturer packaged it. It is boxed open flat so the box is very long and narrow like an oversized board game. I had wanted something smaller as I have to mail things with holiday gifts and the size of this box does not work at all. I wish the web descriptions would give the size of the item as well as show how it is packaged, and the size overall packages.
