More like a collapsible, accordion style platform.

The Serta EZ Air Bed with NeverFlat pump weighs approximately 15 pounds for just the mattress, but the mattress is bonded at the factory to the frame and can't be separated. The Serta EZ Air Bed has a metal frame that unfolds as the air mattress is filling. You can see a demonstration on Youtube. Perhaps a better bed for you would be the Serta RAISED queen size Air Bed. That bed is approximately 18" tall when inflated and easy to get on and off, and weighs approx 20 lbs. Thank you, Phil

The Serta EZ Air Bed weighs approximately 55 pounds. The EZ has a metal frame permanently attached at the factory that unfolds as the bed is inflated.

Comfort

This is a great product that was very easy to inflate and deflate.  I also love how the storage "bag" is attached to the bed, so it's very easy to convenient to pack back up once you're done using it and store it for the next time.

Serta EZ Air Bed

I ordered this Air Bed as my son and his wife were coming for a visit and we didn't have a spare bed. It worked out great! No complaints from them at all and I loved the ease of set up and take down. Also love the compactness of it when not in use. It is about the size of a large travel sized golf bag so easy to put in the corner. It has wheels on one end so I don't have to lift it at all!

Was skeptacle spending so much money on an air mattress but so glad we did.  The bed is so easy to use, roll it out blue it in and turn it on, within a minute the bed is inflated, to deflate just turn the button to deflate and within minutes the bed is folded up, just zip the heavy canvas bag and roll away.  incredible how easy it is to use, and it is comfortable as well.  Thinking about buying another one we are so happy with it.

Great Bed!

Perfect for a room that needs to serve alternative use regularly.  The bed is comfortable and maintains firmness. Easy to  put out and then store away.

EZ Air Bed

Works like a charm. So very comfortable!!! Slept like a baby.

Fantastic

This bed comes on wheels with a retractable handle. All you do is unzip it, open the flaps, plug it in, and turn it on. It inflates and rolls out the support as it inflates. It's really a genius design. It also holds a lot of weight and the frame feels sturdy.

Our issue with it was comfort. My husband and I like a cushy bed. This bed does come with three settings firm-medium-soft, and with one person on it with the soft setting, it really was comfortable. However, with two on it, it felt so firm that it hurt our backs. We ended up finding a memory foam mattress on sale and buying it for cheaper than this air mattress.

So if you are buying this for one person to use at a time, or a couple that don't mind a rock hard firm mattress, I would recommend this. It really does what it's advertised to do and seemed very well made.

Nice looking bed, but quickly developed a leak in the bottom panel.  Had to return

Nice looking bed, but...

I purchased this product as an alternate bed to sleep in when my wife was either restless or snoring. I intermittently used it for about 7 months when it developed a small hole. I tried using the patch kit that was supplied, but it did not help (still leaked). The hole grew somewhat larger after I used the patch kit. I called the SERTA company customer service, as the directions dictated when I received the mattress. I pretty much got no satisfaction, other than they will replace the bed after mailing in, or e-mailing, a bunch of information, (which is understandable), however the original warranty would remain as one year, which means the next bed sent would only have a 5 month warranty. I was also told by the SERTA representative to contact WALMART Corporate to see what they would do. I feel SERTA is not taking responsibility for their product and wanted Walmart to fix it for them. Again, a lack of responsibility.What a $275.00 disappointing, deflating, lesson learned. I will never by the SERTA brand ever again.

i bought one of these 2 years ago , used it for one month last year when company came . it lasted 3 weeks this year before developing a hole in one of the pillow looking pockets . it's in an un patchable area . i expected better quality from Serta . $350 for 6 weeks use is unacceptable . also , it folds down to a 3 foot long by 18 " by 18 " . not a very SMALL cube as advertised . DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ONE OF THESE .
