To me I would call it more of a mocha or chocolate color the other pieces in my bedroom (purchased before this piece from somewhere else) are chocolate color and this unit matches perfectly.

I actually had it sent to site to store for them to put it together for me. If you can take it back to the store, I know that Walmart will put it together for you. If you still want to put it together yourself, I would call the company that made it &amp; ask for a copy to be emailed to you or mailed to your home address.

The drawers of the Sauder Wakefield Wind Oak Highboy TV Stand are approx 19" deep, plenty of room for cloths.

The drawers are 33 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 8 inches high from bottom to top. Very large.

Without actually measuring the draws I would say yes they can be used to store clothes in they are from a visual stand point very deep and with the way the unit is put together the drawers are very sturdy.

It is a great product - WHEN it is finally put together. It is VERY heavy (thank you delivery man for getting up the 3 steps from the drive) I could never have lifted it into the house. The instructions are thorough but it took several days to finally get it together. Very good quality for the price & we needed it for our upstairs bedroom so the height is great 30"+ for the 40" TV.  It is a dark smokey black color that works great with the black & brass furniture, even has brass handles on the drawers. Excellent stand for bedrooms with high rise beds if you don't want to wall or ceiling mount, you CAN see the entire TV from the bed.

TV Stand #1 Winner!

I was looking for a tv component holder with storage that fit in the spot next to my tv...This was perfect!  It scared me at first because it has alot of peices...It went fast and the instructions were clear and easy....I did it alone without my hubby...he was happy!...I would buy this again!

once it was together it looks more expensive than it is but 1 part is missing and to make it more sturdy wood glue in certain places but every thing works and looks nice

Nice for the price

Before buying this item I read the reviews on several items and this was the best one that I seen. I do have to agree with the other reviews it is a heavy piece of furniture. We just got moved into a new house and even though our bedroom is a little bigger than the last we are still limited on space. This stand is serving as my dresser as well as out TV stand and I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for sturdy and a beautiful piece of furniture.

I wasn't happy about it coming in a box but after putting the night stand together and was super easy to do the TV stand. I love them both and they match my head and foot board perfectly. Will be purchasing the dresser drawer soon.

Love it

This media stand is perfect for my 40 inch TV.  I love the handles on the drawers.  Very beautiful and sturdy.

Lovely furniture

Very heavy unit, assembled it about half way and a wrong move caused one of the fittings to twist out and pull the 1in of pressboard surrounding it out, as well.  Can't return it for my error, replacement part too expensive (shipping!!), so I swallowed the $134 loss and tossed the unit in the trash, opting for a similar $75 used piece made of solid wood. Lesson learned... No more pressboard from now on.

Very fragile material. It looks like solid wood,  but it is the cheap pressed plywood.
The assembly instructions are not clear, and a step was misplaced.
I regretted buying this item. I wasn't happy with this purchase.
