I think itt is too tall for a coffee table.

I dont think this would look good as a coffee table. There is a lip on the front of it to prevent the TV from falling off the front and it is tall.

The top is kinda small and it stands a little taller than most coffee tables I've seen.

It probably wouldn't, it's pretty tall for a coffee table. It stands at about 3 ft, so I guess depending on how high your living room furniture stands, it might work.

If you're a handy person who has done this type of thing then yes, but if you're not it's going to take a while. It is doable.

I've built a number of Stauder products in the past, desks and such. This was about average for difficulty for Stauder projects. You will need a phillips head screwdriver - and for a few screws will need to apply a fair amount of torque to screw it in. And you'll also need a hammer for a few parts.

I built mine by myself without help.

I don't think this was easy at all! There are A TON of pieces. Took me two and a half hours.

yes it is quite simple to put together and its great when your done

Yes for the most part it is easy to put together but the screws connecting the top of the stand have to be screwed in at a angle and that was kind of a pain.

The only problem I had was putting the legs on by myself. I had someone else finish it and I don't know how he did it, because he took it to his house to finish it, but he got it put together the rest of the way very quickly by himself.

Very easy. It took me less than an hour. The parts are clearly labeled.

Went to the store and bought it. It's 35" wide. "Specifications" are wrong.

35" in width. By that I mean 35 inches. 35' would be 35 feet.

And technically it's 35" in L, by 17" in W.

it might be 35"w on the top shelf because it has a bigger overhang/lip on the front then the bottom shelf does, but it's not nearly 10". It might be an extra 2" on the top shelf but that's it.

No, it is 35 inches long and about 18 inches deep from the wall out. it is about 25 inches high.

My tv is 32 inches so I would definitely say 35.

I have a 37 inch tv setting on it and it doesn't extend beyond the stand. The 25 inch may be the depth??? It is doesn't stick out very far from the wall like some stands do.
