When I got my TV the stand was attached. Take it back to the store and exchange it. Check the box before you leave the store.

Not sure what photo you are looking at, but the TV has a small pedestal base which attaches to the unit. It is included in the box and is installed by the owner.

The stand was in the box. It comes in two parts which is easy to attach to the TV.

The base is in the box. It is actually made of metal. The part that connects from the TV to the base is thick plastic. You don&#39;t need to buy anything else. If you were going to mount it to the wall with a bracket (that you have purchased extra) you would not need the plastic connector or the base.

First thing I want to get out of the way is the complaint from another reviewer about the burnt wire smell. Out of the box mine had a strong smell too, and I'm also sensitive to bad smells, but instead of taking it back I decided to wait until the end of the return period and I can happily say that the smell totally went away in just about 8 days of use out of the box. So if that review kinda turned you off, you can rest assured in about a weeks time the strong new electronics smell will go away. Now for the good....

I've been waiting for a 1080p 32" TV in the $200 range for the bedroom for a while now being patient and skipping the 720p displays which I almost bought one on accident since they typically don't advertise the resolution on the box of those 720p displays and I just assumed everything was 1080p these days (thankfully I have a smartphone to quickly research something online before buying something like this on the whim, but even if I had bought one and wasn't happy I would just return it anyway).

Although I bought this for online video streaming in the bedroom hooked up to my laptop through HDMI, I decided to try my Xbox 360 on it just to try gaming. Needless to say I was floored with what I saw! So much so that I then decided to hook it up to my gaming desktop PC to try it. Dare I say the gaming quality looks and performs better than both my 60" LG plasma and my 27" Samsung LED gaming PC monitor!

I'm attaching some still photos of this TV playing games on my PC (I'm running a nvidia 760GTX). I didn't expect such good video quality, and definitely not such good of response time for the price! At one time during it's hey-day, I used to be a top five player of UT2004 on the worldwide deathmatch stats and if anyone is going to be finicky about input lag, it's going to be me. So I fire up UT2004 and go online and low and behold, no input lag what-so-ever. I can even say that there's even less motion blur than my Samsung gaming PC LED monitor!

Out of the box I had to turn off overscan, set the color to normal over the default cool, turn down the brightness and backlight just a few clicks, and the color and gaming quality is phenomenal! I've never had such an easy time getting satisfying results from a display! For instance, it took me about a month to fine tune my LG Plasma (which I do love for movies).

I bought this TV just to have something to watch and fall asleep to in bed but what I got was some of the best gaming visuals I've ever seen and for the cheapest price too! Using it as a 32" desktop monitor can seem overwhelming at first, but within a few days I'm already used to it and it seems spot on perfect for gaming! See my pics.... First pic is Rise of the Tomb Raider and second is Sonic Generations on the PC running a nvidia 760GTX. Looks freaking good, huh?

I just hope these new Sanyo displays hold up like my Sanyo arcade monitors from the 80s still are. Yes, I have three Sanyo CRT arcade monitors still working and looking perfect manufactured in 1984 (one 19" Sanyo 20EZ and two 19" Sanyo 2ZAW's) 32 years old and still going strong in my arcade machines. =)

Jaw dropping gaming quality and no lag!

This TV caught my eye on a number of visits to Walmart. Though there were several other flat screens in this size, this one stood out and I kept going back to check it out, repeatedly. I did an internet search for some reviews and it certainly came out on top. -- Decision Made. -- Now that I have been able to put it through its paces at home, it passes with flying colors - Vivid Colors! Having a true 1080p HD set does make a difference. This unit is exceedingly sharp and clear and the colors are natural. It also gives you the option for different preferences for picture and sound, so you can make it perform perfectly for your environment. Even reruns of old B&W shows look great with the sharp, defined contrast. Of course, when TVs become this thin, something is going to suffer. Ya just can't put big speakers in a small box. It's a standard problem with very thin panel sets. However, with some detailed adjusting of the custom sound controls, and tailoring it for my room acoustics, I was certainly was able to achieve more than satisfactory sound. Of course, hooking it up to my home music system brought this TV into a whole new realm. You'd be hard to beat it at any price when shopping for an LED-LCD flat panel TV.

I was so happy to see a 1080 TV in a 32 inch for under $200 to finally replace our OLD fashioned 10 year old TV. Nice sound, nice picture, nice remote with large numbers, sleep timer which I use every night. No complaints at all. We love Sanyo, this is the 2nd Sanyo we have purchased this year.

I needed to replace both a TV & PC Monitor...(ancient)...for under $200...

(if you're in that TV/Monitor situation look at TV's not Monitors)

...So last week (3/9/16)...I jumped on this Set... Sanyo FW32D25T...

For the monitor 1080p resolution is a necessity...a 32" screen was the right size...
...larger would make close viewing difficult...178* viewing angle...try that on a monitor

...lots of inputs 3 HDMI...Audio Out...were most important to me.

WOW...prayers answered...Great TV and surprisingly Good Monitor...TYVM Walmart

...I have HDMI for both the Laptop & HD Cable box...Component for the old DVD...

Watching movies...TV/PC/DVD and scanning pictures & whatnot from the PC...

...and I couldn't be more satisfied...

The picture is beautiful out of the box...looks better than the 50" in the LR...

The speakers are small...but the "audio out" takes a stereo 3.5mm jack...to my stereo computer speakers... and sounds great...a Sound Bar would be "killer"...

(btw...the Manual says NOT to plug headphones in the "audio out")

The remote menu gives you great options

...5 choices of Picture settings & 8 adjustments...

...for the Sound there are 5 choices and Treble/Bass/Balance adjust...Dolby too...

I still have hookups for a couple more devices...hmm
