Best Mid Budget Gaming Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous to jump into a monitor that was so curved and on the more expensive side. I am so glad I bit the bullet and did it. I was torn between g6 or g7 and which size and I think I made the right call. Picture is great, the smart features are so much better than my previous Asus Tuf 24.5in and do not underestimate how useful having the remote is. The lights add that fun factor and go great with my other rgb accessories and again the picture looks GREAT! Everything I wanted in a monitor and I am so happy I decided to go for it. Now I need to find a good mount for my desk as the feet are long and stick out on the front and back of the top shelf of my two tier desk. That's the only very small detail that could be better and it's by no means a huge issue.

So I love it!

Recommend a monitor arm to reclaim desktop real estate. Came with five dead pixels. I can live with them. Just use a YouTube dead pixel checker video before you set up to decide if you want to request an RMA or a refund.
It has apps and you can play games. Built in wifi and Ethernet to connect to the net. Includes speakers in the monitor. Pleasantly impressed with what this monitor offers.

Excellent monitor for gaming and work.

I bought one and half the screen was dim and not in good condition. I returned and bought another and thankfully this one is working like it should. Its features are just like an Amazon fire stick for tvs, live tv, apps etc. you can also screen share your phone onto the monitor for a split screen to watch sports and game at the same time if you wish. All around it's worth it…. If it comes non defective.

Good monitor but be cautious

we loved this tv but instructions are not in English too put it together.its in four languages but not one is in English.did not understand Spanish or French or the other two languages too put it together so we had to pay for a cab to return it.then at the return desk .i was treated like i was not returning the right tv some how i had switched it out and I was stealing from big Walmart.do not buy this tv unless you speak Spanish or something else.English you are lost

I was excited for this monitor but was HIGHLY disappointed. The display ports came in faulty fresh out the box. I get bad flickering and the whole monitor shuts off after 5-10 minutes of use by giving me crazy scanlines,, until the death screen. It's very annoying. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Would be great….if the ports weren't faulty

I brought the g6 after seeing the great price Walmart is having for it. There were at least 4  dead pixels on the screen. Got a replacement and there were 2 tiny dead pixels that isn't visible unless your eyes are close on the monitor. Considering to keep this one since it isn't as visible and it's in the top left corner. This monitor is common to have dead pixels and you have to keep trying to get a perfect one, but it's just too much work. Quality control is horrible.

I ordered this monitor over a week ago. The first one arrived and I was super excited. Only to get it all set up and find out that there was a cluster of dead pixels in the upper right corner. Sadly I packed up the monitor, went through the whole return and replacement process, only to receive another monitor with another set of dead pixels. Whether this is the monitors fault or the fault of those handling the monitor while in transit I do not know. I do know that  $300 is too much to spend on a monitor that is consistently arriving with damaged pixels. Be very careful and inspect your screen closely if you do decide to purchase.

Tons of bloatware/garbage applications that make the display sluggish and annoying. Every time I turn it on, it tries to play something from Samsung TV. It is also cause my PS five to crash two times within the first five times of using.  
 
Not worth, even when it's on sale at 300 bucks.
