I have used this type of Rubbermaid dish drainer for many years, and I have been very happy with it.  However, as 
much as I like this dish drainer, I am disappointed at the much higher cost of getting this new one.  That is why I gave only four stars for the value.

It's so small it fits inside my kitchen sink. With myself having a small kitchen with limited counter space it's perfect for my little sink. I highly recommend this sink drainer.

I agree with the 'pink mould' reviewer. The 'pink mould' appears in the 4 silicone feet/cutlery basket holes, i.e. areas that retain water.  The chrome wire also shows rust spots & calcium build up where the wires join, as well as, inside the feet.  In little time the chrome dish rack looks 'unsanitary' to use.  To clean, I remove the feet/stoppers & cutlery basket & soak them in a little bit of white vinegar--the 'gunk' scrubs off easily with a brush, although the rust discolouration seems to linger.  I've also tried soaking the feet in CLR solution. The wire basket, however, doesn't clean as easily & the rust spots reappear in no time.  I usually replace the wire dish drainer every couple of years, which is an expensive way to maintain cleanliness.

The only good thing I can say about these dish drainers is that they are large and sturdy. The white one rusted within 6 months, and the chrome rusted in 2 months. Both rusted so badly that they permanently stained my white dishes.

Rusted quickly

Purchased a new dish drainer to replace one I've had for over 30 years. It was still in great shape, just wanted a new color. A previous review I'd read said the glass "arms" were too short. They aren't the problem. Apparently Rubbermaid in their pursuit to cut costs left out a rail that runs just an inch above the bottom of the side walls, & that's what helps support any size glass. (Compare pic of the old unit to new ones on the website) They also changed the utensil basket. I will be returning this unit to the store & go back to the old one. I wish manufacturers would live by the motto "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

Poor design changes

Kind of the same as my old one. Except there's a big hole at the end where they removed some wire frames! There's actually one less plate slot there compared to the old one. It's like they felt they needed to make that hole for the new silverware cup location, but it wasn't necessary. So why did they do it?! I need the silverware cup to be placed in the corner not on the end, so that huge hole is very inconvenient. Also, the silverware cup is useless. It needs a divider inside so the first few items placed will stand up. Note: I've added photos of the old one and the new one for comparison, showing the large gap in the new one that allows dishes to fall through.
Note2: This is the third time that I've posted this.  The first two times I was "moderated" which means my report was rejected.  I've recently decided to go back to using my old rusty rubbermaid rack, just because I am tired of trying to work around the big hole in the bottom of the new one.

Cheap

I had to replace an old one, and got his one. VERY unhappy with it. The silverware basket is twice as wide as the old one, and the silverware falls over and gets in the way of putting in more silverware. The basket also gets in the way of using the front two dish slots. This is a serious step back from the older design that had a square silverware basket. This dish drainer even removed the front-most dish wire, because you can't stack dishes all the way to the front in this thing. VERY disappointing. Don't buy it!

This is a miserable step down from the old one

Like everyone else who has reviewed the chrome dish drainer, mine has also started to rust in a short period of time. Very disappointed.

I have owned several Rubbermaid wire dish drainers over the years and always have been very pleased with how well they have stood up under everyday wear.  In shopping for a new drainer, I was surprised at how flimsy they now are, but decided to try one anyway.  I bought a Large Chrome drainer and am shocked that after only 3 months of use rust is appearing on the ribs and the feet (which are encased in translucent plastic).  Needless to say, this is NOT acceptable and I am going to ask for my money back -- as well as be leary about buying Rubbermaid products in the future!

Started to rust after 2 months!

This is not the quality I expect from Rubbermaid. I was so surprised that I double-checked to be sure that was the brand on this drainer. I don't put sharp object in it, just dishes. I'd be willing to pay a little more to have this rack in stainless steel...or something that doesn't rust so quickly.
