The box is 6" high outside dimension. It's 5 1/2" high inside. With the rollers attached the whole thing is actually 7" high.

The unit is divided in half with a board across the width. The two bottoms are held in place by dado cuts (grooves) in the sides causing the inside dimension to be shallower than the outside dimension.

Yes it is. We have carpet in the kids rooms and it measures around 7".

I measure the height at 7" with the casters.

Yes, with the casters the exterior height of my drawers is actually just under 7". The interior height of the drawer is 5.25".

If you are familiar with IKEA assemblies, it&#39;s very much the same thing. The pieces are pretty heavy solid wood for the sides and thinner board for the bottom. Holds several heavy items. The only complaint is that pieces on the side don&#39;t connect super tight. I&#39;ve had to rescues a few back together. It uses those metal pieces you stick into the hole and then twist with a screw driver.

The wheels are very sturdy in my opinion and work better than some under the bed tupperwares with wheels. They do not rotate though. They only roll in one direction, but if you know what direction you want them to roll, you can adjust them before you screw them into the bottom

Honestly, if you have a twin bed with nothing right next to it, you could easily fit four of these drawers. I have three under each of my kids beds.

How do the wheels roll? This item would be great under a bench I have - if I can slide it out and in by pulling it from the side.

Each drawer is 14.5" wide and industry standards for a twin mattress indicate that they are 75" in length so three storage drawers will fit underneath. These drawers make storage and clean up easy!

You can fit 4 under a queen bed, they are tiny.

I vaguely remember seeing drawers like these on the PB site at twice-plus the cost. I bought two of them to go under a Melissa & Doug train table. They look so cute. Published dimensions to the contrary, these drawers were about 1/4" too tall to fit under the built in drawer in the train table. Right now I have a piece of wooden train track under each corner of the table that actually looks and works just fine, but I think that I will probably replace the track with four white rubber caps eventually.

The drawers are easy for a two-year old to pull out and push in. The drawers are each divided into two sections which is handy for organizing books, blocks, and other toys. I looked at a lot of sites before I found these drawers at Walmart. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Great Bargain

These drawers are great, look great, convenient and they did come two drawers per order as advertised.  It's a nice way to organize the kids stuff.  They are sturdy and we did not need to use wood glue or anything.  I did air them out some before putting in the kids' rooms.

Great storage

My daughter was tired of having her shoes shifting in those under the bed cases. The sides are not sewn to the bottom, so the shoes were constantly shifting into each other. (She has many pairs of shoes, boots and high heels!) So I ended up ordering two sets. I put the rollers on one set filled them with shoes and then stacked the other set on to each one and filled those with the rest. Now all she has to do is roll them out and find what she needs. She finds it much easier to lift one off the other, then having to route for her shoes in a case. We live in an old house and her closet is very small.  She has two larger drawers on the other side of her bed, so I was limited to what I could put under there.  So easy to put together. I put two of them together in 20 minutes.

I bought these to go under my daughters bed for all her American Girl stuff. They worked perfectly. They are really cute, and roll out nicely. I like how it's open so she can easily access her stuff and put it away. I do wish they were a little deeper, and wider. My husband put them together quickly. I'll probably get one more set since there is plenty of room for them under her full size bed.
