Came well package.....5 minute assembly of wind shield and steering....and good to go. I'm an accidental collector of old stuff and while this is obviously not old it fits my dÃ©cor and could trick a few who didn't know better. The build quality is great....probably as good as an actual 55 chevy off the line. No issues with the paint or anything for that matter. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

I am very happy with this purchase. It looks better in person than the pictures on the site. Quick delivery and speedway motors is very easy to deal with. The instructions are useless, but that goes for most kid's Toys now a days. The steering wheel came off after 2 weeks, probably my fault. A little lock tight helps.

I'm impressed!

I am using the cars as I got this one and the red one for my fur babies to take adorable pictures of them. I have purchased a lot of accessories such as a road rug, Chevy racing flag. We had bel air decals made to put on each side and the tags say 55 Cruisin for our state of Georgia. Side note the baby's Daddy has his first car that he purchased at 16 in the aqua color just like this that he is restoring which is another reason these cars are so special to us.

Love love love this car

I purchased this car because of its retro look and because it was metal. My grandson loves his new car and his mother likes to pedal power vs. a battery operated plastic toy. I plan to purchase Speedway's unfinished steel pedal car to customize and paint to add to my grandson's car collection. Hopefully the quality will be as good as the 55 Chevy...

Awesome little hot rod, very well made , although it is from china its made from steel and the paint is auto quality . Upolstery is auto type Colors are the same as my fathers original 55. Happy with the price also. With a little care I beleive this car will be passed on for generations..

Family heirloom quality

We opened the 55 Chevy pedal car yesterday to give to our grandson on his first Christmas. It's beautiful and seems to be really well made. I don't know who was more excited. . Grandad, Dad or baby. My son has restored his Grandfathers 55 Chevy and the convertible pedal car is almost the exact color. Thank you so much for,this wonderful gift.

Surpasses expectations!!

I like it. It's not as durable as the one I had as a kid. But, that one was made in America, 50 years ago. It's unlikely I would let kids use this, they would likely destroy it. I bought this because it was cool looking. I intend to keep it that way.

Car finally arrived since ordering in December quality is great, Has a slight dent in drivers qtr but for a kids toy no big deal. Minor assembly was super easy.Paint could be better. I Would recommend this to anyone. My only real issue was the lead time and although it missed Christmas and my daughters birthday it was worth the wait and cost.

I was somewhat disappointed in the overall fit and finish of this product. It looks great in the photos, but really doesn't live up to expectations upon delivery. Maybe mine was a fluke, but there are bubbles in the paint in places, the metal doesn't match up well where the front clip and the back clip meet with the main body. I guess if the object was to match the poor machining abilities in 1955, then perhaps they met their mark. All in all, it is not a bad product, just a poorly made one.

The car looked good except for two nicks in the paint on one side.  We were not able to assemble it since it was missing 4 washers.  The instructions were poor.  Walmart makes sure you can rate a product.  How about making it easier to find an email address to ask for the missing pieces.

Better if all parts had been included.
