Restore Engine Restorer and Lubricant is a high performance oil additive that increases compression in older high-mileage engines. The unique CSL formula fills worn areas of the cylinder walls to reduce blow-by and restore compression to near original levels. Restoring cylinder compression improves combustion to increase horsepower, reduce oil burning, maximize fuel mileage and restore peak engine performance. In addition, it provides extreme pressure lubrication to help protect engine components from excessive wear. Compatible with conventional or synthetic oil.

I have used this for years with my high mileage cars and they have lasted over 180K.  No harm that I know of.  Used with every oil change - every 4-5 thousand miles, 3K is just too soon.
Just don't drink it.  
When you go to have your oil changed, have them short you by the amount you put in (8 cylinder, 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder all have different fluid ounces).

Can I use the 8cylinder restore to treat my 4 cylinder diesel engine?

My old car 2002 Celica was with certified mechanic for 3 weeks. 
He did what he could to fix rough idle.  Replace plugs, 02 sensor, he finally said you got low compression 2 cylynders like 60.  Just sell the car.   Well I put restore in, the first day it stalled once  drove abit every day a week later it drives smooth, now a good runner.   Put 100 miles so far on it. I'm not selling it, car runs even with a/c on full blast.  
I think compression is better, but did not do a test.

It worked

I had a code show up the day I purchased, PO11 cam shafts lost of lubrication. I put in and made an appointment immediately  with dealer by the time I made it in the code was gone and dealer said no issues.

bought it to put in my 2012 prius v after new engine oil was changed. The P0011 P0012 P0016 code came up right after 5 minues drive. Dont know if it is not competible with my engine.
