I have fine hair and lots of it, past my shoulders, and have 2 sets. I've set my hair since the mid 60's and always aimed for as many curlers as I could for fullness. The smaller rollers will work with thick hair if you use small sections of hair at a time. I am about to get a 3rd set to have the option of using all large, all small rollers or any combination of them as my hair gets longer again.
Double check I think they should be returnable if you are not happy. I also like the size for travel.
Maybe I just have more experience with regular rollers and electric due to age; 62. I never did learn to blow my hair out. I even still have a bonnet hair dryer and use it regularly.

I've bought these for myself and friends for decades. They are the secret to my beautiful hair. The compact travel size is all I need practical for travel and at a great price. I'll keep buying them. They are well made and last. I bought them for my hair salon too! This purchase was yet another gift for a friend. I demonstrated and she loved the curls and ease of getting them. I am Mrs. Maisel incarnate with them. She curled her hair after her husband fell asleep, then set her alarm to release her curls before he got up. I do my 10 minute hair magic, or rainy mess or evening out refresher routine with my hot curlers, and everyone thinks I always have natural lush hair body and curls!
Seeing my friend try to figure out where to place the rollers before I showed her, It would be great if they included hair style ideas/how to use the curlers in different directions and hair loading amounts for different effects.. In sum, the youthful style for so long has been no style - mostly long straight hanging hair. Even just to put a lovely wave or curl along the bottom to give it an upbeat shape and perk up the face and energy, as my friend said,  before a date or night out, was fantastic. The  rollers made her look like she'd just had a super designed shaping haircut.

This small set is so convenient..if you have limited space or for traveling, this hot roller set is for you. Has just enough rollers to heat up a whole head if hair is evenly distributed on each roller. I have medium thick, wavy, waistlength hair and it works great. Nice curls... and smooths hair out with negative ions feature similar to using a flatiron.

Mini Mighty Compact Roller Set

Let me preface this review:  I have thick, stick straight hair and a lot of it. I have always used hot rollers (on %26 off) since high school. Over the years I have accumulated several Remington sets like these. I don't use the small rollers so I have to buy 3 sets to accommodate my hair with the bigger roller.   They are awesome. Period. That being said they do NOT heat up in 90 seconds. That's just laughable. New sets take 15-20 minutes to heat to a desired temperature. (My old sets take 35 minutes). So I plug them in and jump in the shower and maybe start my makeup then the rollers are ready. Bc of my hair I like to leave the rollers in my hair minimum 30 minutes, maybe more.   I will buy them again!  I have tried every single brand out there and none compare. These don't smell when you plug  them in (some brands smell like toxic fumes), they are reasonably priced and they last. Addendum:  I have purchased every single set I own, have never been contacted by Remington and have never done a promotion for any company

Love how these are compact and easy to use. Had enough rollers for all my long hair. I was stumped at first that there is no on/off switch but worked well.

Great little set!

I always end up with fantastic looking curls with these travel size hot rollers. since my hair is super thin, I don't ever use all 10 pieces, but if you have thicker or a full head of hair, you'll need more hot rollers or would have to do these in sections at a time.

Perfect for thin hair

I have two sets of Remington travel purchased at least 24 years ago. They still work wonderfully but look a little grimy. I use and abuse them almost daily with lotions, hairspray and forgetting them and leaving them plugged in for hours. So, I recently ordered 2 new Remington sets (2 so I can double the large size).  I'm sure the new set will also be wonderful.
