The Remington 10inch Electric Pole Saw can cut branches, which are 15 feet above the ground without the need for a ladder. The hex-shaped inner pole is made from aluminum for a durable strength and rigidity during extended-reach operations. With 10" low kickback and chain, this Remington chain saw provides you with a safe and comfortable working. The outer pole is made from fiberglass. The head of the Remington chain saw can be removed easily from the pole and can be used separately as a handheld electric chainsaw. The adjustable telescoping pole has a flip lever for easy locking of the pole. The trigger lock-off mechanism in this electric pole chain saw avoids any accidental starting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrMarvelmo Great saw My chain was too tight,, I had to loosen it just a little. If you can not pull the chain around the bar by hand its too tight. Be sure to put some gloves on and check yours before you use it. Just read the manual. This pole saw is great and has plenty of power. Its very easy to take the saw off the pole and put it back on, its also a very sturdy set up. 02/01/2012

Then went out plugged it in, put in some oil and away I went. It was awesome. Easy to handle got through a lot in a short amount of time! so easy to use and not jerking around or jumping like a bigger gas one! 09/09/2010

I cut through limbs that were about 8 inches around a few times in the process. I had no issues with this saw.Just remember I have only used it once so far. 04/27/2010
