One of the main reasons I love this gate is because my cats fit under it, and my robot vacuum can go under it as well! It does retract pretty hard and fast so definitely use the safety lock it has! This is so nice to not have a big gate always in the way! Especially in a high traffic area in the house. It retracts when you don't need it or need to get by and because it's a very thick but see through material my kids don't mind it! As long as they can still see me when I'm in the kitchen lol love this so much! But you do have to assemble to use it.

Very compact and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad for the opportunity to try this product, since I have 2 children and this gate is useful for me. The downside is the installation. No, it is not difficult to install, but keep in mind that you will need to tighten the screws, and this in turn causes damage when you remove the gate.
I installed it in the kitchen so that the children could not enter there when I was cooking and for safety reasons as well. Convenient to use, simply unwinds easily and hooks onto the hook. So durability will be good.

I would like the installation to be easier, perhaps with sticky stickers, so as not to cause damage. But in general, I recommend it for those who have children or animals and you don't want them to go somewhere. Amazing size not too small.

Convenient to use, but not in installation

The “D” rings that latch have cracks and my niece accidentally let the gate go and the bottom “D” ring broke off. My 1 year old can now escape through the bottom.

Not Durable

I bought this to keep my 3yr old out of the kitcen as he has a bad habit of destroying food and making a mess and no form of no or discipline has gotten him to stop. He broke it by leaning his full body weight on it. I wish the brackets were made out of metal instead to withstand toddlers.

Broke after day 2

Same part Broke on two of the same gate. Easy to follow instructions for installing. But, it broke. My one year old leaned on it and the plastic hook on the part the rolls out the gate broke. Obviously, my baby fell so I'm extremely disappointed with this product.

Broke very easily on TWO of the same gate

Okay. So. Bought this gate on a whim. First of all. I put it AS CLOSE to the ground as possible, and my kids still crawl under the mesh. 

Buttttt safety issue!!!!! This gate pulled out of my wall breaking the spacers originally, in the middle of the night when nobody was using it. Sucks but I figured because it wasn't in a stud and only supported with the drywall screws it was my bad. 
So. I put the gate WELL in studs without the spacers. Just wall and stud and gate. 

I was walking through to chase my son and I went to open it and it pulled out of the wall and snapped me in the knee. Now I am spending the morning in the walk in because my knee is 2x the size it usually is. And of course I don't have the box to refund it so I'm down more money and have no way of keeping my kids out of the bathroom as of now. I'm just glad my kids weren't hurt but DO NOT buy this product. Literally any other gate would cause less damage
