I have the cloud 9 seats on both my aluminum and carbon fiber MTB. They work well on rides over 6 miles. If riding, fast, downhill (you) will hit inner thigh, but the seat does very well up hill.  I have fox dropper posts on bike bikes and a 32 inch inseam if that helps in your buying decision. I have tried seats in the $200 range and didn't really notice any (compared) difference. Good luck.
