We do not recommend to this bowl use this bowl in a microwave; however, it is top rack dishwasher safe.

I don't think so, but why would you want to? It's a garbage bowl and too large to even fit in a microwave. Hope this helps!

It's a bowl for garbage, although you can use it for serving. I wouldn't recommend heating anything in it, besides it has a rubber bottom.

Did you place it in the freezer, heat it, or drop it? Extreme temperatures perhaps could cause it to crack. It's a garbage bowl. And how long have you had it? No expert, but if it's flawed and you have a receipt you should be able to exchange it.

Bought Rachael Ray 4qt. Garbage bowl in Dec. and used daily. It cracked apart today. Is this covered under limited lifetime warranty.

This has helped keep all the food garbage out of my sink when my husband cooks. So worth every cent!

Love it!

A large attractive bowl that serves its purpose (and perhaps others) well.   Will handle a lot of food waste and would work nicely for all sorts of salads.  Looks attractive on the counter, and the rubber feet keep it from slipping.  I got the green and at 9.98 is was very well priced.  If the idea of a garbage bowl is appealing I would purchase it!

Does what it says

I bought this as a wedding gift from a registry. It is heavy and has flecks of blue throughout. It is also dishwasher safe and has a rubber bottom to keep it from slipping on the counter. Very nice!

Heavy,sturdy and very pretty!

I have this bowl in my kitchen and I have to say, it is definiely attractive with it's vibrant color. It's so cute that I would rather put my salads in it and use it as a serving dish than as it's directed use as a garbage bowl. There is a rubberized bottom which is great if you are using a slippery surface.
I'm a Rachael Ray fan. I love it.

Multi Use Bowl!

Due to narrower bottom than most large bowls, fits on counter as permanent fixture. Love the rubbery bottom for stability when grating. No constant trips to the trash while prepping. Thank you Rachael Ray!

I have always wanted one of these bowls but they were too expensive I thought. I bought one on sale online and I LOVE it! It has a non slip ring on the bottom so it doesn't slide on the counter. I picked the green (It was on sale) I have to say the color was much better than I expected and I think all cooks should get one of these!!! I love love it!!

A Kitchen Must Have!

DEAR WALMART,
I ordered all kinds of different items as I always do : over $100.00 worth of items which is normal for me. My bowl looked beautiful in orange and I have been waiting to get this bowl and it arrived BROKEN!!. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE HAD TO GO TO WALMART TO RETURN SOMETHING. UGH! I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. THEY PACKED ALL MY LAUNDRY LIQUID DETERGENTS, AND LAUNDRY FRESHENERS, AND LAUNDRY SOFTENERS (ALL VERY BOTTLES) WITH MY PRETTY BOWL. MY BOWL WAS NOT EVEN WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP. IT WAS JUST IN THERE LOOSELY. WHEN I GOT THE BOX TO BRING INSIDE THE HOUSE, EVERYTHING FELL OUT OF THE BOX SO I HAD TO GET EVERYTHING FROM OUTSIDE AND BRING INSIDE. THANKS GOD NON OF THE BOTTLE BROKE OPEN AND SPILLED OPEN. I DON'T KNOW WHO PACKAGE THIS TIME BUT THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB IN PACKAGING ALL THOSE HEAVY BOTTLES (A) TOGETHER IN A BOX THAT COULD NOT HOLD TOGETHER AND (B) JUST THROW MY BOWL IN THERE INSECURELY. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WHO EVER PACKAGED …OTHERWISE, THE BOWL WAS BEAUTIFUL.

Beautiful BUT ARRIVE BROKEN!!!!! WALMART PLEASE!

Bowl is a good size, pretty, and works great. It is light-weight but sturdy. It has a non-skid bottom - I can't decide if I like that or not, honestly, as it would be nice to easily slide it over if it's in the way. It is slightly too high for me to comfortably peel potatoes in to - not a huge deal...I just peel them on the cutting board then transfer to this.

Why do I feel the need for a bowl for this purpose? Because if the size and layout of my kitchen, it is not convenient for me to have the garbage can next to my prep area. When possible, I've used a produce bag, emptied meat container, etc. But this bowl is just so much nicer, works better, and is always available.

I'm happy with the purchase. Would recommend.

Great product, great idea!

I bought this as one of the birthday gifts to give to my mother-in-law, but it was broken/cracked when she received it. Though, Walmart.com was kind of enough to refund it back to my account.
