We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Senior Dog Stopped Scratching!
My senior pup arrived to my house through a foster program with several skin issues. We switched her to Purina Pro Plan Adult Small Breed Sensitive Skin food and it made a huge difference. We also used a medicated skin treatment for the first few weeks because of how bad the scratching and hair loss was. We no longer have to give her any medications, but still use the sensitive skin food for her. She loves to eat it and by feeding the recommended portion, she is also maintaining a healthy weight, which is important for a senior small breed dog with shorter legs and old joints. We love this food!

My 10 yr old terrier chihuahua, developed a chicken allergy later in life and this was one of the few foods I found that did not have additional proteins in it. He loves it and so does my other dog that this is what they both eat now. I noticed an immediate change in my terrier's allergies and improvement of his skin.
