I'm always putting my baby's health first so I decided to change his diet from refrigerated to dry food just in case due to these outages out in Texas.This food has complete sources of almost everything he needs in his diet and he loves it so I'm happy.

I have three dogs that love this dog food !! I have one that is super picky and would only eat chicken nuggets and one with a sensitive stomach and this food is perfect for them both! This one is their favorite !

My German Shepherd have been eating this for a few years. They love it, and for the amount of food they eat, it's worth it. They've got beautiful shiny coats and tons of energy, healthy you know what's.

Good quality decent price.

Kuma is a very picky eater. Since she was eight weeks old, I had to put her on a more bland diet with fresh boiled chicken, vegetables, and rice. I give her nutritious kibble for the other nutrients, and this kibble does the trick! I highly recommend.

My babies are getting up there in age. They love the taste of prohealth. But they are both had to have some dental work done. They have trouble eating dry food. So I had a can of prohealth, canned food and hot water to soften it for them so they can eat it easier and they love it. My little baby is 17 pounds and in very healthy condition my big baby is 120 pounds and is very healthy.

My dogs have special needs

I adopted Gus 2 years ago from a shelter, someone had surrendered him the day I happened to call, it was a 4 hour drive to them, well I brought Gus to his forever home, (my ex adopted a female dog at the same time). YAY ME! In that time I had probably purchased 4-5 different dog foods (always dry, never wet food), I was buying Hills Science Diet (when it got to $74.99 a bag, I started looking for something else, he didn't really like that food. I bought Blue Buffalo (I always buy, and stiĺ do 40 lb bags) so the food I was buying wasnt cheap brands by any means, Gus would snub his nose, and only ate it because he was hungry (I dont believe in giving dogs people food). Well, I was on Walmart.com and ran across this Pure Balance Dog Food, Chicken %26 Brown Rice Recipe (I was trying to stick to grain free, but we know brown rice is good for dogs).

Let me tell you! That boy doggie of mine has gobbled this up from the beginning, and no it isnt just "because he is hungry" he likes the taste, when he hears me fill his bowl up he comes running! It is too funny to watch, and it does my heart good to know that I finally found a food he enjoys. Excuse me, this is a 30 lb bag, not 40. Who knew this was predominantly made in the USA? Who knew this was Walmarts brand of dog food? I didn't. i was pleasently Surprised! also it doesn't cost $74.99 and Gus Loves it! I definitely recommend this for picky eaters like Gus! It also comes in different flavors and styles of food.

Gus' Eating Habits

Great premium quality kibble for the price! My German Shepard is super picky and this is the only brand of food she'll eat! She loves it! Her coat is soft and shiny and keeps her at a great weight! Plus with all the lawsuits against these popular dog brand foods and recalls it's hard to trust anyone. I've never heard of any recalls and the food always looks and smells fine. Very consistent product!! I have happy healthy and shiny doggies

Amazing kibble

I am health conscious about everything I put in my body, and I do the same for my furbabies. Label reading is just as important for dog/animal food, as it is for the food we eat. The ingredients in this food are all healthy; the fiber content is excellent, and the protein %26 fat are a healthy ratio. I can't believe that food with the ingredients that are in this one, is so inexpensive. Healthy eating is rarely cheap. I highly, highly, highly, recommend this for any stage of life your dog is in.

THE MOST NUTRITIOUS FOOD I'VE FOUND-GREAT PRICE!

I have a small rat terrier Jack Russell Chihuahua mix and her skin was awful her digestion was awful I searched and searched and searched there was nothing that helped her not even the expensive hill science diet and when I found pure balance I bought a small bag I was expecting the same thing sniff itWalk away eat a little and get sick but she did not she got more active more healthy her skin cleared and she no longer pooped blood it is a very good dog food I buy it every time

It sucks to know that my dog went through the entire bag just to find a big glob of mold on the bottom. Mold is toxic for pups and this is unacceptable! Don't buy this brand please . I read other reviews with this issue. At this point this brand needs to be discontinued.
