The Pack Away 32 Inch Rolling Duffel
This bag is magic! It's a 32 inch rolling duffel that collapses into a tiny bag, that's the size of a text book. That's brilliant.
The other nice feature is it's light. The fabric isn't really heavy, so I don't know how many beatings it can take on a plane. Just because the abuse it would have to take. This is perfect for road trips.
The other nice features are the shoulder strap and wheels.
Obviously, this bag has a lot of bang for the buck. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bag.

It Packs Away!

I love this bag. It is spacious, well divided and very comfortable and easy to use. I love that is lightweight, and thus easy to pack multiple items. I love that it comes with wheels , so it’s easy to move it. It has multiple perfect size pockets on the outside for easy and quick access. There is a divider for shoes which is an excellent addition. I love how the fabric is well made and thick to prevent any rips from handlers at airports. Well made bag !

Excellent product!

I wrapped the bag with one extra strip for the heavy packaging and put it as a checked luggage for my flight trips and it survived in a piece without any issue. My luggage weighted over 40 lbs.

Other reviewers said that the bag would break even in one trip, but I think it all depends on how you prepared and protected your luggage. I always used some extra strips and belts to protect my long trip luggage bags and it is the same for this bag.

The foldable bag saves a big space when not in use. The rolling wheels makes the handling easier. I really love and enjoy it.

It survived the long trip in busy airports

This duffel is huge! I like that it has a fold-up bottom support so that it's not just floppy fabric on the bottom. You can fold it together and zip it up into a tiny little compact rectangle for storage. It's nice that it has wheels and some zipper compartments.

Huge duffel

When I received this duffel, I decided to pack for a full 7 days of travel. While there are just a few very minor items such as charger and appropriate cords that are not shown, I packed enough clothing and items for a comfortable 7 day trip including entertainment! The items fit comfortably, including my favorite pillow (not shown). The unit has 2 zipper tags, which allow for an approved TSA lock (if desired) and with some creative persuasion, might actually fit in an overhead compartment.

I'm not much of a suitcase type of guy, most of my life I have used some sort of soft duffel bag for traveling unless I needed to transfer something that needed locked up and then it was a hard case. Any way the Protege 32" wheeled and compatible rolling duffel bag in a black color is right up my alley. It is the first time I have had a rolling duffel bag and was really exited to check this one out. Over all I love it, it's quite bigger than I thought and can hold a lot of items. It's about 29.5” long by 12.5” x 13” square and on one end it has a mesh zippered compartment about 9 by 12”. On the side of the bag it has another zippered compartment that is 7 by 11”. It comes with a handle on each end so you can pick it up with both hands or a heavier duty handle on the opposite end of the wheels for pulling the bag. It has straps that cross over the top that velcro together to carry as a regular case and a strap you can install for over your shoulder if you like. It also folds up into a 5” wide built in zippered up storage compartment. The only down side that I have found with it, if you can call it a down side, is that when you roll it and stop, the bag will not stand up straight. It will fall over on to the floor. So you will have to lean it against something. That's not a big deal to me and this is my new go to bag anytime I travel.

My New Go To Bag!

For what it is priced, this simple duffel is nice and does the job. It's nothing like Samsonite and won't last forever but it comes in handy. The color is black and the fabric is strong enough. It's roomy and good for traveling when you need extra storage. You can't go wrong with this simple, nice duffel.

Nice Simple Duffel

So far so good with this compactible duffel bag for travel with wheels. When I open the box initially, I thought the package is way too small to hold a duffel bag that big, but the nice part about this bag is that it classes into a very compact size for storage. When completely zipped up and packed for storage, it probably doesn't take up any more than 4 inches deep by 14 inches across. Very small similar to the size of a large textbook. But then, when you unzip it expands to a great distance to fit a ton of clothing and accessories to take on your next overnighter.

Being such a compact bag makes storage somewhat limited if you would like to have multiple pockets for shoes, or just separating pockets for toiletries and clothes. There are only small pockets on the front of the bag other than that you just get a giant large compartment where you can put all of your clothing in gear. For me that's not a big deal as I don't mind packing all my stuff in just the large compartment. This bag does have rolling wheels on the bottom, which makes it easier for transport. 

A few things I don't necessarily love about the bag is the material feels very thin and may possibly tear overtime with extended amount of use. I do feel like it is solid, but it feels kind of like a thin, backpack material.

Also, if the handles would have a little more padding on them, that would've been nice. If I put more than 30 pounds in this bag, the straps can be somewhat uncomfortable to carry. 

Overall, the bag has been nice and comfortable to use for overnight stays and has a large enough storage for multiple days. The wheels are nice for traveling in and out of places and the ability to collapse this bag into a tiny storage size is very convenient.

we took this on a flight with three other duffels all the others were fine this one had huge gashes all over it and is basically falling apart after the first trip.
