Protege Rolling Duffel Bag 3 5 6 7
Good, but design flaws All in all, this duffle is a decent value. But there are two very annoying defects to the design: 1) the retractable handle does not lock in place when retracted in its down position so you cannot pick up the bag by the handle when loading into an overhead bin. You have to awkwardly grab it by the bag's material. Secondly, there are no feet opposite the wheels, which means when you stand the bag upright and let go of it, it tips over. Very annoying. The Jeep 24" rolling duffle addresses these issues. It's a much better bag.Over and out - GT 08/25/2010
O.K Bag It's a good bag for the price. $20.00. We wanted to check it in on an airline trip. But decided it wasn't sturdy enough for that. The airlines are really hard on luggage. So we decided not to use it. I kept it because we will useit on our car trips. Its light and holds a lot. 07/14/2011
You Get What You Pay For If it's purchased for a kid who will rarely use it, it's worth it. The color is not a vivid red as in the photo though, but that's nothing to worry about. The duffel bag is roomy enough, but the wheels tips over every couple of feet, even on flat, even ground. The retractable handle is even difficult to maneuver because it sticks. I would never take it on an extended or air travel vacation. 08/21/2011
Pretty Good for Light Use This bag seems pretty good if you're looking for a lower end bag for not very rough use. I was looking for a cheap travel bag, not too big, not too small. I was looking for a wheeled suitcase but since they were all expensive and only came in packs of 3 or more, I decided to settle for this duffle bag. I am expecting it to be torn at the edges after some heavy use, but that's OK with me. I wish it was slightly cheaper, for I do miss the legs opposite the wheels. This might even be good for carry-on luggage as it's small enough. It does look spacious though. Overall, it's not the best bag out there, but not a bad deal for the price. 07/22/2011
