Yes. Due to the adjustable clamps which rest inside the toilet bowl, this product works great with elongated toilets.

Yes. We have an elongated toilet seat and it fits snug and secure. I tried moving it around after securing it and it wouldn't move at all.

The measurements of the outside are 13 inches wide by 14.5 inches long. The inside hole is 4.5 inches wide by 6 inches long.

I don't know what the exact spec are for the inside hole but I don't think that it would be big enough for an 8 year old. It's a perfect size for my 3 1/2 year old which is why I say that. I wonder if the toilet seats that have a built in toddler seat would work well?

Need exact specs for the inside hole. It's needed for a special needs 8yrs old. So we need more room then for a toddler.

This is always a concern for parents of boys and the truth is, if he wants to lean back on the seat or aim it in another direction, there is no potty that will get him to change his mind. But if you can convince him to aim it forward, the built-in pee guard will deflect urine away from the rest of the house and down in the toilet where it belongs. The weePOD is a great choice if your looking for a comfortable, sturdy and adjustable potty topper.

Does this seat work well with toddler boys?

I am so thrilled with this seat! My 22mo old loves it and I don't have to worry about her falling into the toilet (yes it happened with other seats) and it is so comfortable for her. She didn't like using the floor pottys so this was a perfect fit. We have a fresca brand square toilet with an oval-ish inner rim that slightly slants down at an angle into the toilet and there is no fit issue like I've heard about with other brands. There's a knob at the back that adjusts to the size of your toilet seat so you don't have to worry about it sliding around. It's not so tight that I have to adjust the knob to take it off either. We only have one bathroom and it's not a problem. The pink is nice and bright and I just can't say enough about it. We take the previous disney toilet seat topper with us and use it at stores etc... she's still so small! ;-) Highly recommend this seat.

THE BEST TOILET SEAT EVER MADE!!!

The adjustability makes the potty sturdy and despite having no handles, our daughter has no issues or fears using it to potty. I like that it also has a little hanger on the back, so if youre having company and the bathroom is shared, you can hang it out of sight.

Awesome, reliable potty seat

This seat is easy to install and looks great. It fit our toilet seat perfectly and was super easy to install. It isn't too "childish" looking and works with our other bathroom decor. I can't wait until our little boy is ready to use it.

ordered this almost 2wks ago for my 2yr old, i love everything about this seat. its secure, no wild colors, easy to clean, and my 2 yr old loves it! bit pricey but worth it. i had originally ordered the other weepod for 18.95, but returning that one because it's not as sturdy as this 1.

I got the pink and really like the dark color. The seat is soft, but the best part is the adjustable sizing. It didn't fit on our round seat at first, but I adjusted the screws and it works fine! The pink, Bumbo step stool matches pretty well, if you're interested. :)

This particular item unfortunately didn't fit my round toilet seat, however I bought the Prince Lionheart weePOD Basix. The Basix works for any toilet with 2 suction cups on the bottom of the seat to prevent slipping off the toilet. They are both very soft for sitting on even for long periods of time.

Not for round toilet seats

Looks like a mountain on top of a loo. It sits really high ontop of toilet so my daughter needs a really big step stool now as her small step stool is not high enough for her to actually get on to the loo by herself. Too many bits to clean as well.
