no the wipes will not get too hot. i was worried about that to. But it has not happened yet. My daughter is 6 months and i have used it every day since she was born. It is really a great product. Just make sure you put a little water in the bottom or it will dry the wipes out. :)

No, by the time you take a wipe out and get it to your baby's behind it will be kind of warm. People say they dont stay hot BUT they're not suppose to be hot. It knocks that ice cold bone chill off of the wipes and your baby will appreciate it! My son hates it when his wipes are cold.

No, they never get too warm. They can dry out if you don't remember to soak the pad, but I never had a problem with them becoming too warm or hot.

As long as you're using the pad at the bottom you shouldn't have to worry about that. If you think they are a little too warm, they cool really fast once they're out of the warmer so it wouldn't take long for it to be just right. :)

The wipes don't go beyond a certain temperature, and most of the time are "perfectly warm". The only thing that does come into affect is that the wipes can get very moist, and become very soft, resulting in easy tearing. It all depends on your brand of wipes.

I have had my wipe warmer for 5 months and mine have never gotten too hot.

I never had that problem. They are just the perfect temperature.

I think you can use anything. I saw where one girl on here was using baby wash cloths you know to recycle them for cheap instead of buying wipes.

Yes! I just roll them up and they work perfect. Never had a problem with burning or browning of them either thanks to the inserts.

Yes! I use the Walmart brand (Parent's Choice) cloth wipes & it works the same as other wipes...still warm & moist!

i dont see why not. the only problem i can see is that if they are too thick you will have a hard time dispensing them.

We use it for cloth wipes. Taped the top closed and wet the cloth wipes with water and a few drops of essentials oils.

Yes but if you don't add water to the pad every 2 days and rotate the wipes, they will dry out and scorch. Even with disposable wipes it will do this. Get the Babies R Us brand, it doesn't do any of this.

yes you can wet the pillow pad as usual and you can either roll or place the cloth whipes flat in it .. the ony thing is you have to lift the lid for them.. ig you go on your tube and look up prince lionheart wipe warmer it will actually show you with cloth !

The pad package says to moisten it every week, and to change it every 3 months. I have only owned it for a few weeks so I am not sure if they need to be changed sooner than that. Hope this helps!

it says that you need to change the pad every three months. i havent used mine for that long yet, so im not too sure how long it actually lasts.

I'm sure its recommended to change the pads more often.. BUT.. I've had mine for over 2 years and I've always used the same one. Every time it empties I just rinse it really well and get it nice and moist and reuse.

You can wash and reuse the original as many times as you want, but it will become discolored and misshapen a bit. I ended up throwing mine away.

I believe the instructions say every two weeks, but sometimes it can dry up faster than that, depending on how much water you soak it in before putting the pad into the heater, if the lid is left open, and I'm sure the number of wipes also play a role in the rate of moisture.

It says the pads last for 3 months but I just used my last one for almost 4 months before I changed it out.

About a month or two. I kept mines in for at 3 months. My baby just turned 5 mos and I just changed it last month.

Long as you keep them moist and not dried out, they should last a while. I have had mine 10 yrs ago, but did replace it every time a new addition came. But they lasted me for the time the LO were in diapers or pull ups.

The original packaging states that the pad needs to be soaked once a week and replaced once every three months.

Istruction says change them every 3 months. buy it at amazon about $10.

You are supposed to change the pads every 3 months to keep them fresh and sanitary. You have to re-wet them more often as dry ones do not warm the wipes well.

I had never thought I would need to get a wipe warmer, I thought it was one of those fruitless things that they get you to spend your money on, but after this nasty cold snap we have had this winter, and our daughter being born in the midst of it, it has been nothing more then a god send! It works great, the walmart wipes do not not work well with the pop-up but we just bought some huggies since the others irritated her and they work great in the pop-up dispenser. My husband even keeps forgetting to close the pop-up top but they are still staying wet and warm and my little girl cannot be happier!
