Very happy with this set. Love the package design. Highly recommend. Just make sure to order from sold and shipped by Wal-Mart option or at least a highly rated third-party seller. I've seen a lot of reviews from other customers saying they had received opened product.

Very Nice Elite Trainer Box Set!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This elite trainer box really brought me back to my youth.  This new release of the the 151 original pokemon is beautifully re imagined. This box comes with everything you need to play the actual card game.  9 booster packs with blind cards and 1 Snorlax promo card. The illustrations are striking and my son was so excited opening up his new cards.  I love that this elite trainer box has generated newfound excitement for the original 151 pokemon.  Any pokemon fan would be thrilled to receive this as a gift!

It seems from my experience that some third-party sellers tamper with the Pokemon Cards and reseal them, but not the cards we received from this seller as they looked all originally sealed and plus we got some great pulls!

Original Box, Not Tampered with!

Although the original packaging did not keep the promo card secured and therefore it arrived bent, everything else was spot on. Out of 9 packs 3 SIR cards were pulled. It's completely luck of the draw but this time Lady Luck was on my side. I was worried by past reviews but took the shot and I am so glad I did! Only problem was with the original packaging and not the resellers fault. Definitely would recommend!!!

Worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is now ten years old but has been playing Pokemon games for many years.  My brother-in-law is in his 40s and does the same.  I love that they have these games to bond over.  This set is gorgeous and in my son's opinion, contained many highly valued cards.  He loves playing it with friends as well as trading these beautifully illustrated cards.

A game for many generations!

Cool nostalgia from this product. Glad it is just the classic pokemon in this run =), but they have SO many variants from regular, reverse holo, holo, full art, etc... Seems never ending and difficult to collect.

Nostalgia

Some of the holo cards were super warped and I was starting to think I got a tampered box, then I pulled the Gold Mew. Made the entire box worth it lol. Love the Dragonair and Mr. Mime too

I was initially nervous when I noticed this ETB wasn't fufilled by Walmart. Always have that fear of hits being taken out and packs getting resealed. To my relief, after close inspection the packs seemed to be untampered with. Further proved that after pulling the Blastoise SIR from my second pack. Only downside is it was shipped in a bag with no protection, so the box itself was dinged up. Everything inside was fine however. Would recommend this for people who just want to rip. If you're looking for a pristine sealed addition to your collection, maybe find this somewhere else.

Good for rips, not for HQ sealed collectors item

The inclusion of cards from the 151 series is a nice nostalgic touch, appealing to long-time fans of the franchise. However, the selection feels somewhat limited compared to other expansions. The lack of some highly sought-after cards may disappoint most. It's okay for beginners but might leave more experienced players wanting more.

Okay for beginners

Opened up bag, yeah bag, with my 151 etb inside to find the top had been ripped open I don't usually open them I collect them as sealed products which when is ripped open is no longer a collectable in good standing, these things aren't cheap at all, would not recommend buying these from 3rd party sellers through wal mart if you're a collector of sealed products.

Don't buy if you're a collector.
