This is the third scale I've purchased for my kitchen. It's also by far, the very best of the bunch. I love that it weighs in several different units of measurement at the easy push of a button. It will weigh from one gram up to 12 lbs with awesome accuracy. I've used several different methods to gauge how accurate it is and it's passed all of my tests. I use it mainly for weighing food, it's an awesome accessory for dieting. I also used it the other day to call my local grocery store butcher out on under-weighing ground beef. Everyone should have one of these. It's also a nice looking little scale that fits nicely on my counter. I couldn't be happier.

This is a fantastic little tool.

I have only had this item for about a week, and I have used it a few times.  It appears to be just what I need.  It is easy to read and equally easy to use.  In addition, I found the same  item on a number of different websites, the Walmart's price  was the lowest.  I didn't have to pay for shipping, because I had it shipped to the store - shipping was free.

BEST PRICE FOR IDENTICAL PRODUCT

I really like the Ozeri brand. I have many Ozeri products and have always been impressed with the quality of their products. I never think twice about ordering an Ozeri product, for fear I might be disappointed- it has never been the case for me. This kitchen scale ranks right up there with the quality I have come to expect from Ozeri. The timing could not have been any better- the holidays are over and it is time to get serious with my New Year's resolution to get healthy. This Ozeri Ultra-Thin Digital Kitchen Scale In Stainless Steel is so very sleek in design. It matches my stainless steel appliances perfectly, making for a welcome addition to my kitchen needs. Not only does it come with a User manual, but it also contains a Calorie Guide and U.S. Postal First Class Letter Rate Guide. The postal rate ability is an added bonus for me that will be used often. The calorie portion of the manual is over 60 pages, covering everything from soup to nuts. (As the saying goes). This scale can measure food either directly on the scale or in a bowl/plate. It has the ability to weigh the plate/bowl and then take that into account when weighing the actual food portion. It does that using the Tare feature. I, personally prefer to simply use cellophane or wax paper to weigh my food. Doing it this way saves me the time and effort of constantly cleaning this kitchen scale. I really like that I can choose the weight display from pounds, grams, ounces, to milliliters. This makes following a meal plan diet quite easy. Clean up is quick and easy using a damp cloth. Batteries are even included with this kitchen scale. I store mine in a cloth bag to keep it free from dust and other items that may pollute the sensors. I received this product for free. This is my unbiased opinion of this product.

Easy to use Kitchen Scale

This is a great kitchen scale from Ozeri, but it can be used in many more ways than just the kitchen. First of all, comes with the batteries that are needed so you can get going right out of the package. It is a nice, sleek, stainless steel design and will go with almost any decor. The number display is large and easy to read. You can set it to give you weights in kilograms, grams, pounds, and ounces. Another feature I really like is that you have the ability to reset the weight to zero after you have put a plate or bowl on. No need to make a mess on the actual scale itself. This kitchen tool makes portion control easier since most of us seem to overestimate.

Another use I have for a small scale like this is for shipping purposes. I have always seemed to short-change myself when I sell on eBay in regards to how much an item will cost to ship. This allows me to place the item and shipping material on the scale and get a better weight to base the shipping off of. It has saved me money in this way. I am glad I had a chance to try out this sample.

Sleek and Low Profile Design

​The Ozeri kitchen scale is great for portioning out my meals. I am on a special diet due to gallbladder and trying to lose weight. I am only allowed certain ounces of cheese, meat, etc, so this is great for measuring out my portions. It is very thin only 11mm and sits so flat on my countertop. It has rubber feet so you don't scratch the counter. The only thing I would change is the stainless steel top, since it shows stains and fingerprints, but this is more a preference. You can measure ml, lbs/oz, kg up to 11lbs. The display is bright and visible. You can even you the Tare feature to measure the empty bowl first and then the ingredients to get the measurement of the ingredients. It takes 2 CR2032 batteries in the back of the scale. Great for weight loss portion control.

Great for portion control

First of all this comes with batteries and ready to use straight out of the box.  It is nice and slim and very modern looking.  It is very easy to use and accurate.  I like to measure things on a plate or bowl so that I don't put items directly on the scale and with this one you can put the vessel on the scale and set it to zero so that you measure your ingredients.  It is great for baking too because it measures in grams and ounces.

Great scale

I previously purchased a kitchen scale that has the unit (of measurement) button on the underside of the scale, which is a total pain. This Ozeri scale has an on/off switch on top, a unit button on top (which allows you to go between pounds, kilograms, grams, and ounces), and a large, easy-to-read, LCD screen. Also, I saw on America's Test Kitchen that this particular brand was recommended due to its quality and being budget friendly. The old scale has been put away and this is the only one we use now. Love it!

Love this scale for so many reasons!

Wow this has to be one of the thinnest digital Kitchen scale ever.  The scale is made from stainless steel and is only 11 mm thick.  The scale can measure 0.1 ounces to 11 pounds and also in Kilograms and Grams.  The Tare feature is the way to go. With the Tare it calculates the net weight of the ingredients and subtracts the container weight, which for sure takes out the guess work.  With the scale you receive the two lithium batteries. It's definitely a chic looking scale.  The scale is accurate, consistent and easy to read.  The two oversized buttons and large LCD screen win hands down. The two buttons on the scale are to turn it on/off/calibrate and the other button is to change the unit of measurement. If you are looking for a slim, high tech scale that is accurate and has style look no further Ozeri is the scale for you.  The scale looks elegant on the counter.  The scale even fits right in a kitchen draw for storage.  You can clean the scale by simply wiping down with a damp cloth.  I am super pleased with the look, style, easy to use functions and how accurate the scale is.  A high quality scale is just what Ozeri delivers. Perfect Scale!

Not bulky or heavy. Takes up far less space than many scales but is very handy in the kitchen. I use the gram scale quite a lot especially in weighing spices. It's accurate for all uses and stores for easy needs. Great,accurate,and slim design makes it a must have in kitchen measurements especially with its tare feature.

Sleak and Slim

Used it 3 times and now it doesn't show the correct weight, contacted Ozeri thru their email and no answer.. Not recommended in any way..
