I like the way it is good protection for the tablet. However, I was disappointed by the stand function. It should be better designed. It does not "hook in" anywhere securely and if you place it in the "cradle" it still wants to slide out. The unit would be better if it hooked in somewhere and kept more stable.

Great option for a tablet

Purchased for wife's TAB S. Thought I was purchasing a purple case (pictured) but it's actually pink in color. Debated between this and a folio style. Glad I decided on this. Seems more durable and better protected. like the fact I didn't have to buy separate glass protector. All-in-one case, full protection. Just be aware, it is NOT waterproof but certainly water resistant. Highly recommend if your looking for overall protection.

Excellent Product

Ordered the case for Galaxy Tab S 8.4. It arrived promptly with no problems shipping into Canada (no extra charges). Case was easy to install. Best feature is that all the buttons, flaps for plugs are in correct alignment. I can use the camera without having to remove the case. Love this product.

Great product

My boyfriend recommended this brand when I bought my tablet. I tend to drop things, and I have grandkids that can be tough on electronics, so I ordered the Defender Series. I had no problems ordering, and it was very quick to arrive. It was easy to install and the stand makes it perfect for viewing videos. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cover to protect their investment. And although the color was listed as Salmon it is more pink. That's fine with me! I have no problems using the tablet with the screen protector on it.

I need to say that Otterbox is indeed the top protecting case choice for phones/tabs, with a style! I placed the order with the Otters in USA straight online this time, and the delivery went well, the Defender fits my SM T700 perfectly. I'm not a first-time user, before this case, I also bought a few Otterbox defender cases for my Samsung Note 2, Note 4, and for my friends' Iphones, too, they just love them.

Actually, I've become kinda addictive to Otterbox cases that in the future when I decide to buy a new phone, or tab, I'll need to check if there's an Otterbox case available that fits the device I'm gonna buy, cheers!

Otterbox Rocks!

This is my first Defender case, but I have used Commuter cases for my Samsung smartphones long before. This time I wanted more protection for my new tool &/or toy and Defender was the only option available for Galaxy Tab S. But it should not be considered a limitation in any case - this product delivers! Nice fit, easy installation, good grip and look and quality you'd expect from Otterbox. Love it!

Defender for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is the ONE

This is a fine protector, the stand doubles as an armored face for the screen for transport. The rubber doesn't catch on your garments like earlier protectors. However, anyone who uses a phone or a tablet is this situation will use it in a well lit environment most of the time. The screen proctor is very reflective, I did some surgery to replace it with a matte one from iLLumiShield. Now the ideal protection for my clumsiness is complete.

I purchased this Otterbox case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. My initial impressions were that this product is fantastic. The tablet was safe and secure, it was easy to hold in one hand, the stand had two positions which were useful. Overall, this is a great product with one exception. You can't use your headphones with it. The case was designed with the access to the headphones in a different area. If it weren't for this one flaw, albeit a big flaw, I would have given 5 stars. See the attached picture. You can clearly see the circular cut out for the headphones, but that's not where the headphone jack is located. The red arrow shows the location of the headphone jack on the device, but the plastic case prevents the headphone from inserting all the way in to the receptacle, and therefore no sound.
