Yes, you can plug in your fax machine into the telephone port and send/receive faxes.

You can use your own analog handset or the Ooma HD3. Ooma Phone Genie provides phone service. You can connect the base unit directly to Internet and sign up for Phone Service or use the included 4GLTE Antenna and get phone service and internet.

Phone Genie Premium Plan at $19.99/month plus taxes and fees allows for 2 lines, which includes unlimited calling to Canada, Mexico. Other rich features include Blocking Robocalls and more advanced call blocking, Make or answer two simultaneous calls with Instant second line, Ring your home and mobile phone simultaneously with multi ring, unlimited inbound and outbound calling with Ooma mobile app etc.

This is a great deal.  I was paying $60 a month for phone service for my Mom.  She doesn't have Internet at her house so I couldn't switch her to a pure VoIP service.  I would get her a cell phone but she doesn't get good coverage in much of her house.  This is the best of both worlds, phone and Internet, for only about $15 a month.  So far, it works great.  I put the Ooma and antenna near a window where it gets good coverage.  She can continue to use her cordless phone anywhere in the house, including the basement.  When I am there, I can also plug my computer into the Ooma for Internet access.  I'm pretty impressed at what this thing can do for such a low price.

Does a lot for a very low price

I found this item to be very easy to set-up and a good value for the money that I spend.  Customer service was very helpful when I called them for assistance. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is trying to cut down their bills. It has so much more to offer other than just home phone service.

Ooma Home Phone Service

Had to shut off the internet and phone out in a rural part of town because it was over 100 dollars a month. the set up is easy and had the phone working in half an hour.

worth it, especially useful for rural areas

Solid phone solution.  It is really cool.  You don't need internet.   You just power the unit up, it connects and you confirm the Ooma service.   I highly recommend for anyone looking for a really affordable phone in the house.

Delivery was fast.  4g module needs to be paired with device and possibly. Use always be paired with it.  Works fine.  Audio was clear.  Seemed to ring three times when dialing out prior to my cell phone ringing.  It's saving me a lot of money and I gained the 4g cell backup.  I plan to only use 4g during Internet outages....if ever needed.

Very disappointed.  Purchased item and waited till it shipped here only to find out thst it does not work in my town.  Would have been nice to know!

Oomba disappointment!

I purchased this for my mother and I?m returning it. The call quality is garbage. It keeps dropping calls and goes in and out during calls. Then, when you try and call the person back the call doesn?t go through. Also, this is sold as a way to have internet service also. Well the LTE tower is always down. The call signal is mostly fair to poor. I called tech support and they keep telling me the line is fine. Well it is for about 3 minutes. I have to keep calling tech support to get a new unit. I?m on hold for a long time and then the call drops or disconnects I then have to call back. It?s frustrating to say the least. This phone service with this device is not reliable. I now have to find another alternative if they don?t send a replacement soon. My mother not being able to make calls is ridiculous and this box isn?t cheap either. It?s almost $60. So it?s basically a $60 paperweight. Save your money and choose another service.

Don?t even waste your money

They neglect to mention it only works with Sprint and contrsry to Sprint adds, they do not have voverage in s lot if places such as where I live. Ooma reps dont know or dint say that either until about the 4th call to tech support

The map showed it worked here. It doesn't.

Total scam! Piece of junk. They don't tell you you have to have a cell phone to active the device.  If you want home phone don't waste your time with these people. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
