Yes, very easily, though this may not be the cheapest route. For an extra $10, we bought the 6-piece pen which makes a rectangle twice the size of the square, or, you can remove 2 pieces to make the necessary square.

Yes the pieces will snap together to make a square but I wouldn't use this for animals. The plastic is pretty soft & flexible - easily chewed up - and 2 extensions snaped together would make a VERY small space. For pet products we use www.petedge.com - been using them 10 years they are excellent & very cheap!

I am a bit confused. Each kit has 2 extensions, which will NOT make a square. I think you might mean 2 kits (with 2 extensions each) will make a 4 sided square.

Yes two extentions would make a square and I think would be perfect for a small puppy. You can always add extentions later as your puppy grows and works great indoors and out.

You will need at least four individual sections (or two boxes of two) to make a small square. We have eight total sections and have a large square. Five, six or seven can be bent to form any shape.

Yes, but why would you do that?? 2 extensions are $23 a piece being $46 for 4 pannels. Why not buy the whole playard with 6 pannels for $49 and if you only want to use 4 pannels for a square fine, but if you need the extra in the future you will have the other 2 to make it bigger and only have spent $3 more?? I like this math better!

In answer to your question about making a small square pen...yes you can make a small pen with 2 of the extensions., meaning you will need to order 2 boxes. The square pen will then have 4 equal sides to it.   I have used this play yard/pen for years for my 2 Poodles, and it is really sturdy! They each have their own bed (small square) in the kitchen.  They have always loved sleeping in there.  It does not have a door/gate though.  You have to lift it up to let them in or out.  I&#39;m so glad I bought this years ago...!

The color is just like the photo, sort of a very light gray. We don't find it an obnoxious color and have kept the play yard in our living room.

Yes, you can. Or you can just make one bigger with the extensions, or use the extensions to connect two together for a really big pen. But two pens could be connected without any adding the extension. The spring-loaded connectors between each panel in the original pen will connect to any other panel, extension panel, or another pen panel.

Yes, the way they interlock, that is possible - but - the 6 panel regular pen and the 2 panel extension makes a rather large octogon (8 panel) shaped pen!

The extension pieces are exactly the same as the regular pen pieces so you should be able to combine multiple pens.

I use two extension kits; it is fine.
Based on the way the sets are constructed, I feel certain you could connect two kits. I almost bought two kits but opted instead to buy the two extensions. My yard includes 10 panels now.
