This company makes a different one that fits plus sizes so I assume this would not or at least not as comfortably.

I don't think so. You could always sew on a longer strap to go into the plastic buckle.

Yes it would. After giving birth I am now a size 16-18 and it definitely fits me. Love it!

Yes, you can breastfeed from both sides, but not at the same time. If you have twins and are interested in tandem nursing, they do have a My Brest Friend for twins.

can you breastfeed on both sides using this?

I didn't really like the product at all. I am not "well-endowed" but I am heavier and it didn't work well for me.

I'm a D/E while nursing and I love this thing! The boppy requires me to balance baby and try to hold a boob. Not so with my breast friend!

This pillow was the single most used breastfeeding tool and it was a life saver! This is an actual breastfeeding device, the "B" is not, it's a pillow that helps the baby sit up (the company markets it for BF but we all know that's a joke). Anyway, this magical, little pillow goes around your rib cage. The baby is able to lay horizontally on the pillow. You adjust the pillow and baby so the baby's mouth attaches....and sit back and relax. Hands free! It makes breast feeding comfortable and relaxing (which helps with milk flow). P.S. they also make an inflatable travel pillow that I took on vacation. I would recommend an extra pillow cover for washing.

Took this with me EVERYWHERE

This nursing pillow is the perfect height to keep you from bending over to nurse, as well as great back support. It keep your back and shoulders from aching due to poor nursing posture. It also stays snug against you, so there is no need to keep readjusting as the baby slowly slips between you and the pillow like others allow. I have nursed all three of my babies (two for over a year each and my newborn for about a month and a half now), and this is the best nursing aid I have ever used. I love it. It is a godsend.

I used a Boppy for my first son. I thought the Boppy was good at the time, but if I had tried the My Brest Friend I would have put that Boppy directly in the trash! This is SO much better in every way! I love that it goes all the way around the waist, hooks on and doesn't come off until you're ready to take it off, has tiny bumps in it for elevating baby's head up to the breast, is flat so baby's less likely to roll off. Also, its flatness helps keep baby awake for a full feeding. I also love the pocket that's sewn onto it to keep things in, such as remotes, cell phone, snacks, bottled water, burp cloth, etc. The only complaint I have is that it took SO long for them to ship it to my store! (I used Site to Store shipping.) If you're undecided on what nursing pillow to get, get the My Brest Friend! You won't regret it! You WILL regret it if you get the "other" nursing pillow!

BEST nursing pillow ever, bar NONE!!!

Total game changer! Gives so much support when nursing, baby doen't “slip” between you and pillow like with a boppy because it is snug being it's strapped around you and it has a square edge instead of rounded.

LOVE THIS!!!!!!!

We bought this for our daughter who just had her first child. She is absolutely thrilled with it, says it helps immeasurably while she is nursing our grandbaby. She had been borrowing a "boppy pillow" from a girlfriend but wasn't happy with its sloping design. Based on her rave review after using the Feeding & Nursing Pillow, I would strongly recommend it as the perfect gift for a nursing mother.

This is the best breast feeding pillow. The lumbar support makes it very comfortable for mom and the level top makes it easy to keep baby latched on. I found that the Boppy sloped down too much and I had to keep adjusting the baby during a feeding this doesn't happen with the brest friends.

Better than the Boppy

I have a Boppy pillow and was always having trouble with it staying in place if I had to move the slightest bit. This pillow is amazing. Not only does it stay put with the straps, it provides much needed back support while feeding. It even has a pocket to keep the phone, remote, bottled water or whatever you need close by. It's a new mom must have.

Love It!

All the breastfeeding moms I spoke to recommends getting the Brest Friend over the boppy for breastfeeding.  So although I have not tried breastfeeding with the boppy, this pillow is great. It supports my infant completely and comfortably and I can't imagine making it through those long breastfeeding sessions without this.  

However, for some reason this particular design (flowing fans) cost more than the other designs. So I paid a small premium for this but it looks great in my nursery. However the fabric itself is a bit cheap and not very soft.  Which is why I'm only giving this pillow 4 stars vs 5.

Works better than the boppy...

The My Brest Friend definitely makes nursing easier by supporting your arms & baby. The wider, flatter surface on top & the way it straps around your waist make it more supportive than the Boppy. I have a 7 week old who eats every hr & a half to 2 hrs so the majority of my day is spent nursing & I have a lot of back trouble so I need all the support I can get. With the Boppy, my baby wouldn't stay up on top of it but would slowly slide down in between my tummy & the Boppy b/c it wouldn't stay snug against my tummy. I was constantly adjusting my baby. The Brest Friend will work for different types of holding positions too. I tend to use the cross-cradle hold as recommended by my lactation consultant & it works well. She actually had one of these in the Dr office for me to try. Great product!

A must have for nursing mommies!

Is good but the buckle moves to the top and touches the baby's head. I prefer the Velcro one instead of buckle. Also, the pillow is not protected if you use a fabric pillow case won't stop the humidity to go through the pillow. Boopy pillow has a cover that repels water.

Sorry to be the one dissenting voice... Although I can see the merit of this pillow, after my csection it was painful to use because of my incision. There was NO way that I could use it and be comfortable.
